Abstract: A fastening device for a fitting part, such as a hinge part, is provided with a fastening borehole. A bushing or a ring-shaped insertion part can be inserted in the previously drilled borehole and includes a continuous hole in an axial direction. A pin, provided with a head and penetrating the fastening borehole, is pivoted in the continuous hole. The continuous hole is positioned eccentrically in the bushing or in the ring-shaped insertion part. The pin is provided with an eccentric shaft part which protrudes over the hole and on which a clamping part is fastened.

Abstract: A guide rail has running surfaces separated by a longitudinal slit and a load bearing member carried by the same so that it may slide but not rotate and on it a closing element, preferably a door of a folding sliding door, is attached. In order to be able to secure the closing element carried by the load bearing member to the guide rail simply and quickly, the load bearing member has an elongated carriage part running in the guide rail and having a width corresponding to the longitudinal slit in the guide rail. In a hole, at a right angle to the guide rail, in the load bearing member a pin is mounted so that it may rotate but not move axially and adjacent to carriage part it has a T-head, whose width is less than the width of the longitudinal slit but whose length is greater than it. The pin is able to be locked to the load bearing member in a setting in which the head bears against the running surfaces.

Abstract: A furniture hinge having a movable hinge part (40) adapted to be mounted on a door and is connected by at least one pivot pin in an articulating manner with a hinge arm (1), which is adapted to be mounted on the supporting wall (3) by means of an attachment plate (4 and 5). The hinge arm (1) is locked in relation to the attachment plate by means of a set screw (26) which is able to be screwed into the hinge arm and able to be turned with the attachment plate (4 and 5) but not be moved in an axial direction.

Abstract: A hinge includes a stationary fitting base plate part, which fitting base plate part is connected with a pivotal fitting part. The hinge is able to be pivoted for lateral adjustment of a door or flap carried by the pivotal fitting part, in relation to the base plate part by a setting device in the pivot plane of the hinge. A stop member which bears on a hinge arm and is acted upon by a resilient element, is, via a cam, able to be pivoted with the pivotal fitting part and urges the pivotal fitting part in the closing part of its range of movement towards its closed position whereas outside such closing range it is rendered ineffective by the cam.

Abstract: To retool drilling machines having at least two drill spindles with coupling members for drill bits with a different pattern of drilled holes, an adapter is provided including a housing with two mutually parallel input shafts whose distance apart corresponds to the distance between the two drill spindles and whose form is the same as drill bits to be inserted into the two drill spindles. On the opposite housing side, two drill spindles or groups of drill spindles to be connected together by transmission means are arranged which have chuck members for drill bits, of which each or each group is connected in a driving manner with one of the two input shafts.

Abstract: A mounting plate for securing a hinge bracket, and preferably a hinge bracket of a furniture hinge to a corpus part of a furniture piece or the like, has bores for receiving fixing screws and adjustable secures the hinge bracket to the plate. In order to provide a mounting plate which has a simple design, can be actuated in a simple manner, and permits a hinge bracket to be adjusted in height, the mounting plate, in its rear portion, is mounted so as to be pivotally movable relative to the corpus part about a pivotal axis, which may be imaginary or defined by a pivot, is guided for a limited pivotal movement about the axis, and is then held or clamped in adjustable angular position.

Abstract: A fastening element for a member provided with a fastening bore, preferably for a hinge member, consists of a dowel-shaped sleeve insertable in a pre-drilled hold, in the through hole of which a pin provided with a head can be locked by about a quarter turn. To achieve a fast and easy assembly, the sleeve consisting of elastic material is provided in the vicinity of its tubular shank with a least one longitudinally extending slot. In the slotted portion the hole has a longitudinal cross-section. The shank of the pin has at least one section with a diameter approximately corresponding to the cross-section of the hole, which on its opposing narrower sides is provided with peripherally extending thread-like cutting webs.

Abstract: A furniture hinge comprises a pivotally movable hinge member, which is adapted to be secured to a door or flap and is connected by two links to a hinge bracket, which is adapted to be connected to a base plate, which is adapted to be secured to a carrying wall. The bracket is slidably guided on the base plate at least in the direction of the depth of a piece of furniture and is adapted to be secured thereto in various depths of insertion by a clamp screw. A stop is provided for limiting the insertion of the hinge bracket in the direction of the depth of the piece of funiture. In order to ensure that the gap between the door and the corups of the furniture will have a predetermined width after the hinge bracket has been pivotally moved to effect a lateral adjustment of the door, an adjusting screw which bears on the base plate is screwed into the hinge bracket and is operable to impart to said hinge bracket a pivotal movement for effecting a lateral adjustment of the door or flap.

Abstract: This invention relates to a mounting plate assembly for a hinge, preferably for a furniture hinge, comprising a base plate and an intermediate plate, which is adjustable relative to the base plate and is adapted to be clamped against or connected to the base plate by a screw in different adjusted positions and on which the hinge bracket is preferably adjustably mounted.

Abstract: This invention relates to a track for guiding drawers or the like, comprising at least one pair of rails, which are provided on each of two mutually opposite side faces of the drawer and consist of a corpus rail and a drawer rail, and a roller, which is provided at one end of the corpus rail and/or of the drawer rail and rolls on a horizontal flange of the opposite rail. Rails of four different types are required in known tracks of that kind. In order to simplify the manufacture and stockkeeping of the rails of such tracks and to reduce the expenditure involved in such manufacture and stockkeeping, the drawer rails consist of identical rails, which have mirror symmetry with respect to their transverse center line and are provided with rollers at both ends.

Abstract: A hinge, preferably for hinging a door or flap to a carrying wall of a furniture corpus, comprises a cup-shaped hinged hinge member and a hinge bracket, which is articulatedly connected to the hinge member by two links and is adapted to be mounted on the carrying wall by a carrying plate. One of the links is extended in length beyond the pivot pin by which the link is connected to the hinge bracket, and that extended length portion of the link is so connected by a coupling link or by a guide slot to a pin which is mounted on the carrying plate or on an intermediate plate, which is adapted to be connected to the carrying plate, that the hinge bracket will be pivotally and longitudinally displaceably held on the carrying plate or on the intermediate plate by pin-slot guides during pivotal movement of the one link.

Abstract: A hinge, preferably for hinging a door or flap to a carrying wall of a furniture corpus, comprises a cup-shaped hinged hinge member and a hinge bracket, which is articulately connected to the hinge member by two links and is adapted to be mounted on the carrying wall by a carrying plate. The hinge bracket is movably mounted at one end on the carrying plate by a guide, and one of the two links is extended in length beyond the pivot pin by which the one link is mounted on the hinge bracket. At the free end of the extension, the hinge bracket is articulately connected to the carrying plate so that a pivotal movement of the hinged hinge member will impart to the hinge bracket a displacement along its guide and a pivotal movement.

Abstract: In a mounting plate, a baseplate is reliably held in engagement with a cover plate and in a centered position relative thereto by fixing screws which are only partly screwed into the baseplate because a side face portion of each screw thread bears on the top edge of the associated slot and the diametrically opposite portion of the same convolution of the screw thread is disposed in the baseplate below the cover plate and the baseplate is thus held by the premounted fixing screws against the cover plate in a centered position relative to the latter. The screwed-in fixing screws are reliably held in the baseplate to extend at right angles thereto so that the retaining side face portion of the screw cannot slip from the edge of the slot owing to a possible inclination of the fixing screw.

Abstract: A connecting fixture serves to detachably connect two abutting platelike furniture parts, which preferably extend at right angles to each other. Two fixture elements are secured to respective furniture elements to be connected. The first fixture element has an undercut-defining portion, which may be in the form of a step, a backing edge, or a mushroom-shaped head. The second fixture element has a spring detent lever for releasably engaging the undercut portion and holding the elements together. The safety of the connecting fixture is increased in that it can selectively be locked by rigidly cooperating connecting means. For that purpose a spring which biases the detent lever is held under an initial stress between the detent lever and an abutment portion of the second fixture element. The abutment is movable between a position for engaging and locking the lever in its detent position and a position in which it releases the detent lever to be biased by the spring.

Abstract: In a two-part connecting fixture for connecting parts of a piece of furniture, preferably to a hinge bracket and mounting plate assembly, one of the parts of the fixture is provided with a spring-loaded pivoted lever and the other with an abutment that is interengageable with the lever. The lever and the abutment are respectively provided on confronting surfaces with a beveled or rounded detent flank and with an engaging edge. The lever is arranged to snap to its locking position as the parts are fitted together and are displaced or pivotally moved to a connecting position. The lever is adapted to be released from its locking position by an actuating mechanism. A stop is provided, which during or after the snapping of the lever to its locking position limits the displacement of the parts which are interlocked. A safety mechanism is provided for preventing an unintended release of the interlocked parts.

Abstract: A baseplate assembly for mounting a hinge bracket of a furniture hinge or the like comprises a base plate, which is adapted to be secured to a carrying wall or the like by fixing screws, and a cover plate, which covers or partly overlaps the base plate and is guided on the same transversely to the hinge bracket or the like. The base plate is formed in its end portions with bores for receiving fixing screws, which bores register with intermediate portions of slots, which are formed in luglike lateral extensions of the cover plate and extend on the line connecting the bores, and the bores are defined at least in part by projections, which serve as guides for the side faces of the slots.

Abstract: A connecting fitting for detachably connecting two platelike furniture parts, which adjoin and extend preferably at right angles to each other consists of two fitting elements, which are adapted to be secured to respective furniture parts to be connected and one of which has at least one bar-shaped portion which is adapted to be inserted into an opening of the other fitting element until the housings of the fitting elements and/or the furniture parts engage each other, and said one fitting element is adapted to be connected to the other by locking means, which force the fitting elements against each other.

Abstract: A hinge bracket and fastening plate assembly for a furniture hinge in which a hinge bracket is securely held relative to a fastening plate in order to provide firm interconnection therebetween and to prevent any longitudinal backlash from taking place. The tight connection is achieved by a pivotal detent lever that is spring biased to cause an eccentrically curved cam face to engage with an abutment edge on a stationary fastening plate, and thereby draw a hinge bracket set screw into tight engagement with a corresponding slot in the fastening plate.

Abstract: A furniture hinge comprises a pot-shaped hinge member, which is adapted to be secured to a door or flap and is connected to a hinge bracket by means of two links and pivot pins forming a rectangular or trapezoidal array. The furniture hinge comprises also a base plate, which is adapted to be secured to a carrying wall and to which the hinge bracket is pivotally and longitudinally slidably connected. An adjusting screw is provided for imparting a pivotal movement to the hinge bracket so as to effect a lateral adjustment of the door or flap relative to the carrying wall. The pivotal movement of the hinge bracket tends to effect a change of the width of a gap that is defined by the door or flap and the carrying wall.

Abstract: In a hinge bracket and mounting plate assembly, the mounting plate has guides, in which the hinge bracket is slidable in its longitudinal direction for a depth adjustment and in which the hinge bracket and the mounting plate are interconnected by a fixing screw, which is screwed into the mounting plate and extends through a slot formed in the hinge bracket, an adjusting screw is screwed in a tapped bore of the hinge bracket and is backed by the mounting plate, and the mounting plate has fixing holes, which preferably consist of slots, which extend transversely to the hinge bracket so as to permit a vertical adjustment. The backing surface which is provided on the mounting plate and engageable by the adjusting screw rises toward the hinge-carrying end of the hinge bracket.
