Abstract: Network circuitry authorizes User Equipment (UEs) for wireless services from wireless networks. The network circuitry stores lists of network identifiers that are associated with UE types. The network circuitry receives an authorization request that indicates a network identifier and a UE type. The UE type comprises model, operating system, user application, and/or radio frequency. The network circuitry retrieves a networks list for the UE type and compares the network identifier from the authorization request to the network identifiers on the network list. The authorization circuitry authorizes the UE responsive to a match between the network identifier from the authorization request and a network identifier on the network list.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for dynamically disabling beamforming functionality of a first frequency band. The first frequency band is determined to have beamforming enabled. The user device is detected as being connected to the first frequency band for access to a wireless telecommunications network. A first fading channel measurement of the first frequency band is determined to be above a threshold. In response to determining that the first fading channel measurement is above the threshold, beamforming of the first frequency band is dynamically disabled.

Abstract: A system is provided for scheduling for a multicast broadcast single frequency network (MBSFN). The system includes a central control configured to promote a plurality of enhanced node Bs (ENBs) transmitting one or more multicast traffic channels (MTCHs). Abstract: In a wireless communication network, a Unified Data Repository (UDR) is served by a UDR Message Function (UMF). The UMF receives a UDR message that relates to a User Equipment (UE) for delivery to a network function. The UMF writes the current UDR message to a UDR message queue for the UE. The UMF determines when the UDR message queue stores multiple UDR messages that relate to the UE. When the current UDR message is the only message in the message queue for the UE, the UMF transfers the current UDR message to the destination network function. When the message queue for the UE stores multiple UDR messages for the UE, the UMF stops message transfer from the queue and prioritizes the UDR messages in the message queue. The UMF restarts message transfer from the queue and transfers the UDR messages to the network functions based on the prioritization. The UDR message queue stores the UDR messages under control of the UMF.

Abstract: Systems and method are provided for mitigating hacking of restricted access telecommunication services. In response to an authentication response from a user device, an authentication failure type and authentication failure frequency may be determined. Based on the authentication failure type and authentication failure frequency, the user device is blocked from accessing the telecommunication service for a predetermined period of time, preventing the service from being congested by recurring unauthorized users.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for dynamically detecting and correcting the deactivation of beamforming from an antenna. One or more users are identified as present within a particular geographic area typically served by beamforming, and the average signal strength of the one or more user devices is monitored. If a threshold level of degradation of the average signal strength is detected, then a beamforming status is determined for one or more of the antennas serving the user device or devices. Based on the determination, corrective measures are taken and beamforming is reactivated.

Abstract: A tire inflator having an air compressor to inflate a tire to a predetermined pressure threshold. A central OBD module plugged into in a vehicle uses a short-range radio to transmit to the inflator the predetermined pressure threshold fit for a vehicle. An OBD vehicle bus reader can obtain a VIN of an associated vehicle model. A predetermined tire pressure threshold memory contains a predetermined look-up table of tire pressure thresholds for models. A processor uses the VIN to identify the vehicle model in the look-up table to select the one of the predetermined tire pressure thresholds including a spare tire pressure threshold. A short-range radio wirelessly transmits the looked-up tire pressure threshold including a spare tire pressure threshold to each inflator. The tire inflator has an optical moisture sensor on air inlet or air outlet. The air compressor is disabled when moisture is detected.
