At least some of the light sources of the lighting device are electrically powered responsive to actuation of a brake of the vehicle to provide a center high mounting stop lamp feature that is integrated within the window panel.

The energy absorbing structure is configured to pivot upward in response to an object contacting the sunvisor panel, transferring forward momentum to the second attachment end and to the energy absorbing structure.
