The mold includes a first mold tool configured to mold a first portion of the composite structure, wherein the first mold tool comprises a plurality of strands of a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic material, wherein the fiber-reinforced thermoplastic material comprises a thermoplastic embedded with a plurality of reinforcement fibers, wherein the plurality of reinforcement fibers is aligned within each strand of the plurality of strands; and an anisotropic thermal expansion property, wherein the anisotropic thermal expansion property is based on an orientation of the plurality of reinforcement fibers within the first mold tool; and a second mold tool configured to mold a second portion of the composite structure.

Abstract: A system for controlling and optimizing hydrocarbon production may include sensors that capture sensor data pertaining to wellhead pressure values in a well. The system may also include a multiphase flow meter that captures production data pertaining to multiphase production flow rates of the well. The system may include an access module to access an estimated parameter value associated with a second time and a parameter that pertains to production. The estimated parameter value is predicted by a data-driven model for describing production fluid dynamics of the well, based on the sensor data and the production data obtained at a first time. The system includes a processor to update the data-driven model using a data assimilation algorithm and the production data received at the second time. The processor generates, using the updated data-driven model, an optimal control setting of a control tool for causing an adjustment to a production system.

Abstract: A rack is described for securing equipment, such as a kayak, to a vehicle. The rack has a base member for attaching to the vehicle, a support member pivotally attached to the base member, and an actuator that is operable to engage or disengage a latch mechanism that fixes the movement of the support member in one or more desired positions in relation to the base member. The actuator may be actuated from either side of the base. The actuator may extend transversely across the lengthwise axis of the base member. The opposite ends of the actuator may each be displaced toward one end of the base to release the support member and allow it to pivot with respect to the base member.

Abstract: A tie post for use with a reusable twist tie, the tie post including: a first end being configured for removable attachment to the reusable twist tie; a post extending in a longitudinal direction from the first end configured for wrapping an elongated portion of the reusable twist tie around the post; and a second end having a surface for preventing the wrapped elongated portion of the reusable twist tie from moving in the longitudinal direction off of the post. The tie post can also be integrally formed on one of first and second end caps provided on the reusable twist tie.

Abstract: A wireless communication network exchanges data communication over Session Communication Proxies (SCPs). In the wireless network, the SCPs determine and transfer location information and status data to a Network Repository Function (NRF). The NRF receives the location information and status data and prioritizes the SCPs based on the location information and the status data. A requesting Network Function (NF) transfers an NF request to the NRF. The NRF receives the NF request from the requesting NF. In response, the NRF generates and transfers a list that prioritizes the SCPs based on the location information and the status data to the requesting NF. The requesting NF selects one of the SCPs based on the location information and the status data and transfers NF data to the selected one of the SCPs. The selected one of the SCPs forwards the NF data to a target NF.

Abstract: A turbine wheel used in a turbine flow meter includes a hub configured to be freely rotatably fixed in position inside a fluid pipe section. A first cylindrical rim is centered about the hub and the longitudinal axis and spaced a distance apart from the hub. A first vane set extends outwardly from the hub to the first cylindrical rim, wherein a root of each vane of the first vane set is attached to the hub and a tip of each vane of the first vane set is attached to the first cylindrical rim. The first vane set may consist of one or two individual vanes. An external vane set may extend outwardly from the first cylindrical rim, wherein a root of each vane is attached to the first cylindrical rim and a tip of each vane is not attached to any cylindrical rim.

Abstract: A system for sterilizing a physical space, such as a hotel room. The system generates and distributes heated air to the physical space to elevate the temperature of the space to a level sufficient to achieve a desired sterilization effect of eradicating insects and microoganisms. The system is portable and self-contained. The system includes a hydrogen fuel cell that generates electrical power. An electrical system conditions and stores the electrical power and supplies stored electrical power to the system components and peripherals. System components include a source of hydrogen, a heater, an air distributor, and a filter. Peripherals include a UV light source and an aerosol dispenser. The combination of heat, UV light and aerosol disinfectant effectively eradicates insects, microorganisms, allergens, and odors in the physical space.

The method comprises building prioritized route lists by a centralized routing function (CRF) platform by processing prioritized route list transactions built by a route generation application based on key performance indicators, receiving a request for a prioritized route list by the CRF platform from a session border controller (SBC) controlled by the first communication service carrier, where the request comprises an identity of a second communication service carrier and a destination telephone number, determining a subscriber service level associated with the second communication service carrier by the CRF platform, based on the determined subscriber service level, looking up a prioritized route list by the CRF platform based on the destination telephone number, and sending the looked up prioritized route list by the CRF platform to the SBC.

A method may comprise adjusting one or more slider axes that control selection methods, wherein the selection methods may comprise using target demographic data, target behavioral data, filtering criteria, and/or ranking criteria. Then, an analysis application may complete analysis using the input adjustments to determine a selection of potential targets. The analysis application may be operable to complete multiple methods of analysis (or selection), wherein the user may have input and/or control over the use of the methods.

Abstract: A home occupancy status and information system may be used to track information about human and animal occupants within a structure, and provide information to first responders in the event of an emergency. A rescue beacon may be positioned near an entrance to a home, and when an audible alarm or alarm signal is detected by the beacon it will provide visual alerts and/or audible alerts to attract the attention of a first responder, and will provide information on occupants in the home, such as a number of pets, a number of humans, and other information. A rescue device may also be carried by each pet or other occupant in the house, which may be activated by a wireless signal from a rescue beacon, or by a detected alarm audio/signal. When activated, the rescue device will provide audible and/or visual alerts to aid first responders in locating the occupant.
