Abstract: In an example, a control system for controlling a generator and providing an alarm upon detection of a fault condition. The control system includes a control relay, which includes a normally-open (NO) contact pair and a normally-closed (NC) contact pair, between the transfer switch and a controller. The NO contact pair is provided by a NO contact and a common contact, and the NC contact pair is provided by a NC contact and the common contact. The controller can receive signals indicative of a state of the contact pairs of the control relay and, based on the signals, determine whether to activate the generator and/or activate an alarm system.

  • Patent number: 10941872
Abstract: A zoned fluid control system in a valve manifold system has a plurality of manifold blocks connected together and a plurality of control valves mounted to the manifold blocks with the control valves being electrically actuated and pilot pressure operated. The plurality of manifold blocks forms at least first and second separate pilot pressure passages of a respective first zone and second zone not connected to each other for supplying a respective first set and second set of control valves with independently controlled pilot pressure. A pilot supply valve selectively supplies pilot pressure and shuts off pilot pressure to the second pilot pressure passage without affecting the pilot pressure to the first pilot pressure passage thereby disabling the second set of control valves as a separate zone independent from the first set of control valves.

  • Patent number: 10910873
Abstract: A method and system are provided for transferring a load between a primary power source and a secondary power source. In accordance with the disclosure, a controller senses, via a sensor, an electrical signal providing power from the primary power source to the load. The controller also detects a non-conforming power event by determining that a parameter of the electrical signal is either more or less than a first threshold value. Responsive to the detection of the non-conforming power event, the controller determines a quantity of non-conforming power events that occur during a first time interval. The controller further can compares the determined quantity of non-conforming power events to a second threshold value. Responsive to the determined quantity of non-conforming power events being either greater or lesser than the second threshold value, the controller initiates a control signal, such as a control signal to initiate a load transfer.
