Abstract: A valve includes a set screw that is screwable into and out of a complementary female threaded opening in a valve part for changing a setting of the valve, for changing an adjustable flow restriction of the valve, in which the set screw includes a free outer end that projects outside the valve part, and a gripping part on its free outer end for a tool to be engageable thereupon. The free outer end of the set screw includes a male thread onto which a locking nut is screwed. A protective cap is provided for covering the free outer end, that includes a first cap portion with a rotation space for fitting freely rotatable over the locking nut, and a second cap portion with a complementary female thread that is screwed onto the male thread towards a locked position.

Abstract: A solenoid valve includes a manually operable override with a latch handle that comprises a profile for, in a latched position, latching a valve core by having the profile block an operator part of the valve core in a longitudinal direction, and that is biased towards its latched position, preferably by means of gravitational forces acting upon it. The profile includes a recessed hook portion for, in an unlatched position, abutting sideways against the operator part for limiting the latch handle to move towards its latched position. A release handle is movably connected to the latch handle from a starting towards a release position for forcing the operator part to slide along the hook portion in the longitudinal direction until it no longer abuts sideways against the operator part and releases the biased latch handle.

Abstract: A three-position booster valve mechanism includes an operating member for moving a supply and exhaust valve. A piston-cylinder control system is provided for moving the operating member between a first position in which the supply and exhaust valve are closed, a second position in which the supply valve is open and the exhaust valve is closed, and a third position in which the supply valve is closed and the exhaust valve is open. A pilot port is provided for moving the operating member in between the first, second and third positions in dependence of a pilot pressure. The piston-cylinder control system connects to the operating member at a central point of application in between the supply and exhaust valve. The operating member extends in opposing directions from the central point of application towards the supply and exhaust valve.
Abstract: A solenoid valve comprises a housing 2 having an axial bore 7 which is in flow connection with at least an inlet port and an outlet port 3, 5, a valve element 8 which is moveable to and fro in the axial direction of the bore 7, an electrical coil 13 for generating a magnetic field for moving the valve element 8 between a first end position, in which it lies sealing against a seat 9? in order to disconnect said inlet and outlet port 3, 5 from each other, and a second end position, in which it lies at a distance from said seat 9? in order to create a flow opening for connecting said inlet and outlet port 3, 5 with each other, and a position sensor 17 for detecting axial positions of the valve element 8 in the axial direction of the bore 7. A control unit C is provided for determining stroke, velocities and/or accelerations of the valve element 8 in the axial direction of the bore 7 as a function of the detected axial positions during movements of the valve element 8 between its first and second end positions.
