Abstract: A method providing an estimation of a shooting range with high accuracy by a miss distance estimation and a weapon caliber classification following detection of shooting of firearms with supersonic bullets, and by using novel equations constructed from field shooting data for each caliber in order to ensure a security of a patrol station, a border, troops, a society, a vehicle and a convoy is provided.

Abstract: An arrangement that enables performing of both magnetic particle imaging and magnetic resonance imaging and a device including the arrangement are provided. The arrangement that enables performance of both magnetic particle imaging and magnetic resonance imaging includes: at least one primary magnetic element pair configured to generate a selection magnetic field (SMF1/SMF2) for magnetic particle imaging, at least one secondary magnetic element pair configured to generate a driving magnetic field, and at least one tertiary magnetic element pair configured to generate a focus magnetic field (FMF).
Abstract: A method does not use high resource and high power consuming memory elements (LUT, Block RAM, etc.) or a distributed RAM in an implementation of nonlinear activation functions of artificial neural networks (ANN), eliminating a need for multiplication elements completely by using shift operations. Since each neuron includes an activation function, eliminating a multiplication element saves significant amount of resource and power in an implementation of the ANN.
