Abstract: The valve unit includes a valve plate fitted to a head end of the cylinder of the compressor and having a valve-controlled intake part and an exhaust port surrounded by an annular seat formed in an opposite face of the plate from that which faces the cylinder, an exhaust valve reed associated with the seat, and a limit device fixed to the plate for limiting the travel of the exhaust reed. The exhaust reed includes a base portion which is restrained on the plate, an obturating head portion spaced from the base portion and cooperating with the seat, and an elongate portion connected the base and head portions. The connecting portion is "L"-shaped in plan with the head portion situated at the end of the leg of the "L" and the base portion situated at the end of the foot of the "L". The foot of the "L" is free to bend with the leg of the "L".
Abstract: A device for assembling a stator formed by a stack of core laminations and windings on to a respective head support includes thrust members for clamping the stack between the thrust members and coplanar surfaces on the support. A centering device is provided which can be interposed between a shaft mounted in the support and the stack. The stack is traversed by a plurality of peripheral bolts situated in correspondence with the coplanar surfaces and are perpendicular to the coplanar surfaces and which are screwed into the support. The thrust members clamp the stack to the support with clamping forces at least substantially equal to the tightening forces to be applied by the bolts on the stack.
Abstract: The method and the device are designed for assembling a stator (14), formed by a stack (16) of core plates and its windings (18), on to a respective head support (12) of a small, rotary electric machine, in a position concentric with a rotary shaft (20) mounted in the support. The method is of the type in which the periphery of one end face of the stack (16) of laminations rests on coplanar peripheral surfaces (22) of the support (12) which define a reference plane (P), a centering device (34) is interposed between the shaft (20) and the stack (16), and the stack (16) and the support (12) are held together by means of peripheral bolts (24) which are inserted in regions located in correspondence with the coplanar surfaces (22) of the support (12), are perpendicular to these surfaces (22), and are screwed into the support (12).
Abstract: An intake pipe (58) termimates at and is sealed to the outside of the casing of the unit. The outlet of this pipe into the casing is an orifice in the wall (120) of the casing. The intake opening of the motor-compressor is provided with a connector duct in the form of a separator-silencer body (56) which has an inlet aperture (86) facing the outlet orifice (124) of the intake pipe and which carries a suction cup (62) in the form of a cup of material that is resiliently deformable in an axial sense. The bottom of the suction cup (62) communicates with the interior of the intake duct (56) while the edge of the suction cup is pressed into resilient engagement with the inner surface of the wall (120) of the casing around the outlet orifice (124).
Abstract: A valved body for a hermetic motor-compressor for refrigerant fluids, such as a shaft support for a rotary-ring compressor, is constituted by a metal part comprising a wall, such as a flange, which adjoins a compression chamber for the fluid and has a fluid discharge port controlled by an automatic discharge valve.
Abstract: A method for and an apparatus for assembly of rotating ring rotary compressors is disclosed. A cylinder, shaft, roller and supports are initially assembled together, fixing means being kept in a slackened position. A preliminary centering operation is then carried out for bringing the axis of the shaft into a diametral plane of the cylinder constituting a predetermined reference plane. This operation is carried out by orientation of the shaft into two angular positions spaced from each other by 180.degree.. The shaft is then oriented relative to the cylinder, the region of maximum eccentricity of the core being brought into the said reference plane. The support and the cylinder (this latter with the interposition of the roller) are then pressed onto the shaft by a thrust exerted in the said predetermined plane.
