Abstract: A cylinder lock 1 for use with a lock assembly 10. More specifically the cylinder lock is of the kind including a cam 5 rotatable from one side by a hand turn means 4, and an opposed side by a key controlled barrel 3. The configuration of the first side of the cam 5 so as to inhibit the interaction with the barrel 3 provides a useful result.
Abstract: This invention relates to an improved electric strike assembly (1) including a keeper (6) which is mounted to a housing (8). A locking means including an electrical actuator (9) and a detent (10) configured to resist adjustment of the detent (10) from an active lock condition. The detent (10) is preferably grooved so as to catch on the keeper (6) or housing (8) preventing it moving from an active condition.
Abstract: This invention relates to a coupling plug lock assembly 2 for controlling access to a coupling plug 1. The lock assembly 2 includes a housing 9 for receiving the plug 1, an actuator 10 moveable between a latch position and a release position, and a lock means 17 for locking the actuator in the latch position. The lock assembly 2 is intended for obstructing access to the plug 1 for discouraging unauthorized access to the plug 1.
Abstract: A motorized drive system for a louvre assembly of the type containing a surround frame, a pair of spaced apart operating bars positioned within the surround frame and where movement of the operating bars causes rotation of the louvres, the drive system comprising a motor adapted to be positioned within the surround frame, the motor operationally driving a drive shaft which is substantially horizontal when the drive system is fitted within the surround frame, a mounting member which is attached for rotation with the drive shaft, at least two spaced apart attachment points on the mounting member, a first link arm, a second link arm and a third link arm, the first link arm being attached to one of the attachment points and to one said operating bar, the second link arm being attached to another of the attachment points, the third link arm being pivotally attached to the second link arm and to the other operating bar.
