Abstract: In a fixture for spatial positioning of a device, in particular a device for a medical application, that is supported in a pivoting arrangement on a holding device or the like by means of an arm, quick and easy alignment of the device in relation to a person's treatment area is provided. This alignment is achieved in that a ring-shaped holding body is attached to the free end of the arm, that a spherical outer jacket surface is provided on the device with the surface enclosed wholly or in part by the holding body, and that the outer jacket surface of the device is held in the holding body and can be pivoted relative to the holding body.

Abstract: A system or apparatus 2 for visually displaying and treating a treatment volume 100 located in a human or animal body 1 is disclosed wherein the treatment volume 100 is detected by a location finding imaging instrument 10 and displayed on a monitor 12 and a treatment instrument 20 is preferably oriented in response to the visual display to direct a treatment path 25 which is visually displayed superimposed onto the treatment volume 100.
Abstract: A system for directing shock waves splits the shock waves into a plurality of components that are reflected or combined in multiple focal points arranged along a common focal line. The system comprises a rotationally symmetrical body, and the common focal line corresponds with a line of symmetry of the body.
Abstract: In a fixture (1) for spatial positioning of a device (2), in particular a device for medical application, that is supported in a pivoting arrangement on a holding device (5) or the like by means of an arm (6), quick and easy alignment of the device (2) in relation to a person's treatment area should be guaranteed. This is achieved in that a ring-shaped holding body (11) is attached to the free end of the arm (6), that a spherical cup-shaped outer jacket surface (13) is provided on the device (2) with the surface enclosed wholly or in part by the holding body (11) and that the outer jacket surface (13) of the device (2) is held in the holding body (11) and can be pivoted relative to the holding body (11).
