Abstract: The invention discloses a door opener for a door having a wing pivotally mounted to a door frame, said door opener comprising: a main body; a door opener latch hingedly mounted in the main body and pivotable between a closed position and an open position; a blocking member that is displaceable from a locking position into a release position and back, the blocking member in its locking position forming a stop for the door opener latch in the closed position to prevent pivoting of the door opener latch into the open position, and the blocking member in its release position being so far offset from the door opener latch that the door opener latch may be pivoted from the closed position to the open position and back without any restriction of movement by the blocking member; and an actuator coupled with the blocking member for releasing or locking the door opener latch.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for controlling a video monitoring device comprising at least one digital camera, an event sensor, an illumination adaptation device having at least one light source, and an Ethernet connection. The light source is provided with energy by means of a rechargeable battery, a battery, a remote feed, or the Ethernet connection, and is switched on and off in a pulsed manner by a control circuit of the digital camera. The on and off switching pulses are synchronized with an illumination phase within the image changing period of the digital camera.

Abstract: Described are an installation and a method for monitoring the transfer of goods that comprise identification carriers, across a loading interface between a mobile transporter and a storage area, or between two mobile transporters. During transfer of the goods across the loading interface, data of the identification carriers is read by means of a reading device, and location information of the goods is acquired by means of the location acquisition device, and the data is interlinked by means of the evaluation- and control device.

Abstract: A method and device for automatic timing of mass sporting events is described. Participants of the mass event each wear a transponder with an individual code, which is read after the finish and is associated with a recorded time. Upon finishing, an internal timer of the transponder is activated and its transponder time is evaluated with the determination of a finish time from the recorded time as the adjustment amount.

Abstract: A system is described for the identification, localization, storage and output of objets which carry electronically stored identity information. The system comprises at least one storage container with a reading device for reading the identity information, a display device for displaying the presence, position, or absence of the objects and an output device for releasing the objects which are stored inaccessibly or blocked. The electronically stored identity information can be read wirelessly by the reading device via a transponder located in the respective object.
