Abstract: Aspects relate to methods and systems for detecting a weak cell of a battery. The system including a battery including a plurality of cells, a plurality of sensors configured to detect a potential of each cell of the plurality of cells over time for a duration, and a computing device configured to receive the potential of each cell of the plurality of cells, determine at least an outlier cell from the plurality of cells, as a function of the potential of each cell of the plurality of cells, and filter the at least a weak cell as a function of the at least an outlier cell.
