  • Patent number: 12006731
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to touchless, pushbutton exit devices, systems and methods thereof. A touchless, pushbutton exit device of the present disclosure is a touchless door-control device designed to provide both contactless, fail-safe, egress/exit control as well as push-button egress/exit control. The touchless, pushbutton exit device can be used in conjunction with a host of existing security devices (e.g., Fire, Alarm Panel, and Access Control), or as a stand-alone solution. The present disclosure provides for at least three types of exit devices, i.e., an Infrared (IR) version, a Doppler (radar) version and a low-power radar-based version. When motion is detected within a predetermined distance (e.g., about 5.5 inches for the Infrared version or about 24 inches for the Doppler version) of a faceplate of the exit device, an onboard relay is activated, providing control for intermittent as well as continuous duty locking devices.

  • Patent number: 12007440
Abstract: This disclosure relates scan chain stitching. In one example, scan chain elements from a scan chain element space can be received for a scan chain partition. The scan chain elements can be grouped based on scan chain element grouping criteria to form scan chain groups. Scan chain data identifying a number of scan chains for the scan chain partition can be received. The scan chains can be scan chain balanced across the scan chain groups to assign each scan chain to one of the scan chain groups. The scan chain elements associated with each scan chain of the scan chains can be scan chain element balanced. Scan chain elements for each associated scan chain can be connected to form a scan chain data test path during a generation of scan chain circuitry in response to the scan chain element balancing.

  • Patent number: 12006081
Abstract: A modular case system and method of use provide for a case former having a base, interchangeable case gages and forming heads. Contained within the interior of the base are slide blocks mounted on slide rails and assemblies in such a manner as to allow the slide blocks to be slidingly reconfigured to form a case forming cavity of varicose sizes and shapes. The size and shape of the case forming cavity is established and maintained by a template opening, defined by, and potentially unique to, each case gage. The size and shape of the forming head corresponds to the size and shape of the template opening. The slide blocks are secured to the case gage by removable locking pins.

  • Patent number: 12007856
Abstract: Illustrative embodiments represent a dynamic on-demand approach to configuring destination storage for bare metal restore (BMR) operations without operator intervention, including destination storage that is smaller than source storage devices. The illustrative operations rely on system state information collected concurrently with or shortly after source data is backed up, thereby capturing current actual storage metrics for the source data. The illustrative embodiments further rely on enhanced data agent components to collect and restore system state information as well as to restore backup data, thereby streamlining the configurations needed for the BMR operation to proceed. Additional business logic matches source mount points with suitable smaller destination storage resources and ensures that the BMR operation successfully completes with diverse and/or smaller storage destinations.

  • Patent number: 12007940
Abstract: A distributed data storage system comprises features for integration with application orchestrators such as Kubernetes, and includes a proprietary Container Storage Interface (CSI) driver. Features include setting snapshot scheduling and retention policies, and a “container data mover” that replicates data from a source to a distinct destination distributed data storage system. The migration may be configured one-to-one, one-to-many, unidirectional, and/or bi-directional. Metadata-based snapshots and metadata-based changed block tracking identify payload data to move from source to destination within application orchestrator frameworks at both ends. Payload data is migrated from source to destination using different techniques than those used for migrating metadata, e.g., kernel-to-kernel for copying payload data versus ordinary metadata writes. An illustrative barrier logic ensures that the migration follows a controlled progression of operations.

  • Patent number: 12006107
Abstract: A method of providing a convertible packaging having a storage configuration and a display configuration is described herein. The package is made from a package blank having panels adhesively engaged together to form the package. The assembled package having an interior defined by a plurality of walls. The bottom and/or two opposing walls of the package have a pattern of discrete material depositions adhesively deposited thereon. The depositions each have a height as measured from the wall that they are mounted upon. The presence and height of the opposing depositions providing a mechanical engagement surface against which an adjacent product container is biased or held against, to prevent the product container from falling forward or out of the package when the package is in the display configuration, even as individual product containers are removed from the package by customers.

  • Patent number: 12007967
Abstract: A deduplicated storage system is provided according to certain embodiments that uses one or more mechanisms to update the deduplication database and remove records corresponding to data blocks that have been or will be erased from the secondary copies, without using or tracking reference counting values. Some embodiments described herein use a secondary table to identify the corresponding records from the primary table that can be removed and/or moved to another table for storing “zero-reference” data blocks. In other embodiments, the system will then traverse the “zero-reference” table and remove those primary data blocks from secondary storage devices.

  • Patent number: 12008135
Abstract: An illustrative data storage management system uses a control layer that controls information content presented to users and ensures information privacy between diverse tenants and/or resellers who share the system. The system populates a relationship database as transactions roll in (intake processing), and uses information in the relationship database later when processing responses (output processing). The relationship database comprises associations between e.g., a company ID and any number of entities that were created by or on behalf of the company or that are related to the company's service in the system. The control layer parses raw results that are responsive to requests for information and prevents others' information from being included in the responsive message(s). The techniques disclosed herein are not limited to shared systems managed by service providers, and may be implemented in fully owned and operated systems to add security and privacy among diverse users and/or departments.

  • Patent number: 12007360
Abstract: A bearing lubrication system includes an ultrasonic signal detector affixed in proximity or in contact with a set of bearings and a control unit. The control unit including (a) a lubrication dispenser fixed to a structure connected with the set of bearings and having an output for dispensing lubricant to the set of bearings through a controllable valve; and (b) a transceiver affixed in proximity to the set of bearings, said transceiver transmitting the ultrasonic signal to a location remote from the set of bearings. A hub computer is at the remote location that receives the ultrasonic signal from the transceiver. When the hub computer determines that the ultrasonic signal is above a local predetermined threshold the hub computer generates a local valve open/close signal and sends it back to the transceiver of the control unit.
