  • Publication number: 20250031067
Abstract: A method for optimizing uplink performance of Open Radio Access Network (O-RAN) system implementing O-RAN split option 7-2x-based uplink (UL) multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) operation includes: selectively utilizing non-port reduced DMRS symbols and non-port reduced DMRS measurements to mitigate performance degradation of the UL MIMO in conditions involving high mobility for a user equipment (UE) and/or high interference. The non-port reduced DMRS symbols are DMRS symbols from multiple antenna streams before digital beamforming operation, and non-port reduced DMRS measurements are measurements derived from the non-port reduced DMRS symbols. A radio unit (RU) of the O-RAN system i) extracts the non-port reduced DMRS symbols, and ii) transmits the non-port reduced DMRS measurements to a distributed unit (DU) of the O-RAN system. The DU transmits combining and/or digital beamforming matrix elements to the RU for combining and/or digital beamforming matrix application.

  • Patent number: 12203800
Abstract: A system of detecting loading and unloading of mobile containers such as grain carts utilizes two low pass filters to determine whether the contents of the container are changing by subtracting one filter signal from the other, and using the sign of the difference. Weighing performance is improved by utilizing accelerometers to compensate for measurement dynamics and non-level orientation. Failure and degradation of weight sensors is detected by testing sensor half bridges. Loading and unloading weights can be tied to specific vehicles by utilizing RF beacons.

  • Patent number: 12204414
Abstract: An illustrative data storage management system enables a Tenant to retain control over criteria for protecting the Tenant's data, and hides details of the Service Provider's infrastructure. The Service Provider may have many data centers, each one represented within the system by a Resource Pool with attributes that reflect the infrastructure resources of the corresponding data center. A system analysis, which is triggered by the Tenant's choices for data protection, keys in on a suitable Resource Pool. The system analysis identifies suitable system resources within the Resource Pool and associates them to the data source. Subsequent data protection jobs invoke proper system components based on the associations created by the system analysis. In some embodiments, the system will invoke infrastructure resources created on demand when a data protection job is initiated rather than being pre-existing resources.
