  • Patent number: 10740965
Abstract: Systems, methods and instructions for creating building models of physical structures is disclosed. The building model may be a collection of floors defined by outlines containing regions that may be offset relative to a main region, and a collection of connectors. Connectors may have connection points for tracking, routing and sizing. Connectors may indicate elevation changes through georeferenced structural features. Signal elements may also be features that provide corrections when tracking. Feature descriptors are data that describes the structural configuration and signal elements enabling them to be matched to previously collected data in a database. User interface elements assist a user of a tracking device in collecting floor information, structural features and signal features and validating certain collected information based on previously known information. The height of floors may also be inferred based on sensor data from the tracking device.

  • Patent number: 10740193
Abstract: Hypervisor-independent reference copies of virtual machine payload data based on block-level pseudo-mount infrastructure and techniques are generated and stored in an illustrative data storage management system. An illustrative hypervisor-independent reference copy comprises one or more virtual-machine payload data files that originated from a first virtual machine. The hypervisor-independent virtual-machine-payload reference copy is governed by a distinct reference copy policy that controls retention, storage, tiering, scheduling, etc. for the reference copy, independently of how the illustrative system treats other virtual machine payload data files originating from the same virtual machine.

  • Patent number: 10739585
Abstract: A side head-up display system is provided. The side head-up display system has an image generator configured to emit a generated image to create a virtual image for viewing by a vehicle occupant. In some forms, a side display surface is disposed along a vehicle side of the motor vehicle, and the virtual image is viewable through the side display surface. In some versions, a controller is provided and configured to cause the generated image to be generated intermittently while the first motor vehicle is running so that the image generator is off at least part of the time while the motor vehicle is running. The controller may be configured to cause the image generator to create the generated image to show information about another vehicle outside of the motor vehicle, such as speed information and/or distance and location information.

  • Patent number: 10743357
Abstract: Methods and systems for enabling multiple mobile devices to access an access gateway when at least one of the multiple mobile devices is unable to establish a virtual private network connection with the access gateway are described herein. For example, in some embodiments, a mobile device may configure itself as a member of a mesh network. A virtual private network connection may be established between the mobile device and the access gateway. The mesh network may include one or more other member devices that are unable to establish a virtual private network with the access gateway. After completing its configuration, the mobile device may receive, over a peer-to-peer connection of the mesh network, data that is intended for the access gateway and that is from one of the other member devices. The mobile device may transmit the data to the access gateway via the virtual private network connection.

  • Patent number: 10742717
Abstract: According to some embodiments, a delivery system comprises an interface and one or more processors. The interface is operable to receive a current preference from a recipient. The current preference indicates how the recipient prefers messages to be delivered. The processors determine whether the current preference differs from a previous preference that the delivery system associates with the recipient. The interface communicates the current preference to a plurality of senders if the current preference differs from the previous preference. The senders are configured to store the current preference in local memory and to apply the current preference from local memory in response to a future determination to send a message to the recipient.

  • Patent number: 10740515
Abstract: Systems, methods, media, and other such embodiments described herein relate to insertion of test points in circuit design and associated test coverage for a circuit design. One embodiment involves a circuit design with a plurality of circuit elements and a plurality of clock gating logic elements. A first node coupled to a first circuit element is selected for insertion of a test point circuit element. Elements of the design are identified that contribute to a data state of the first node, and clock elements for these identified design elements are traced. An ungated clock input node from this trace is selected, and the clock input from this node is connected to the test point circuit element. The circuit design is then updated with this connection. In various embodiments when multiple ungated clock input nodes are identified by the trace, additional criteria are used to select among the ungated clock input nodes.

  • Patent number: 10738436
Abstract: Embodiments of the present foundation for wind turbine generators comprise four structural members: a relatively long central hollow pier, several arm grade beams, a continued grade beam and a continued shear key. The central hollow pier positions in the center of the foundation system, arm grade beams are arranged evenly in radial direction and extend from the pier to the continued grade beam. Continued grade beam is arranged circumferentially in outer periphery and the continued shear key is built below it. Arm grade beams have a varied section with the far end embedding into ground. The top of the continued grade beam matches the top of arm grade beams, while the continued shear key embeds deeper into ground. All structural members are constructed of cast-in-place concrete reinforced with rebars, and all connections are fixed and rigid. The present foundation uses the ground to shape and form the structural members, no formwork, backfilling and compaction is needed.
