  • Patent number: 10516441
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, receiving data from an external network device positioned outside of a neighborhood network, wherein the first waveguide system is a first network node of the neighborhood network. Electromagnetic waves are sent to a second waveguide system via a transmission medium, wherein the electromagnetic waves are guided by the transmission medium without utilizing an electrical return path, wherein the electromagnetic waves convey the data. The second waveguide system is determined according to a neighborhood routing scheme that limits delivery of the data to a group of recipient devices within a service area of the neighborhood network and the second waveguide system is a second network node of the neighborhood network. Other embodiments are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10516686
Abstract: A system for malware and anomaly detection via activity recognition based on sensor is disclosed. The system may analyze sensor data collected during a selected time period from one or more sensors that are associated with a device. Once the sensor data is analyzed, the system may determine a context of the device when the device is in a connected state. The system may determine the context of the device based on the sensor data collected during the selected time period. The system may also determine if traffic received or transmitted by the device during the connected state is in a white list. Furthermore, the system may transmit an alert if the traffic is determined to not be in the white list or if the context determined for the device indicates that the context does not correlate with the traffic.

  • Publication number: 20190384862
Abstract: A whittling proxy system can receive a target web page that includes a plurality of Javascript functions and a plurality of objects needed to load the target web page. The system can determine a target Javascript function of the plurality of Javascript functions to be tested for a whittling capability. The system can generate a full version and a partial version of the target web page. The full version includes all of the plurality of Javascript functions. The partial version includes the plurality of Javascript functions excluding the target Javascript function. The system can conduct a test to determine a first page signature associated with the full version and a second page signature associated with the partial version.
