A system to install a software application having a partially linked object code version of the software application including a plurality of code modules and an installation program configured to randomly order the code modules, assign non-volatile memory addresses for the software, and generate an executable image of the software, wherein the installation program performs the ordering, assigning, and generating on a target computing device that is different from a development computing device that partially linked the software application.

Abstract: A method and system for improving the performance of a differential-phase modulated optical communication system is disclosed. The system comprises a demodulator having a tunable element to adjust the free-spectral range (FSR) thereof, and a tunable phase shifter to adjust a frequency of a signal passing therethrough.

Abstract: A communication network apparatus and method for routing communication signals from a source device to a receiving device. The apparatus performs only local processing on communication signals to thereby increase the speed of processing the signals. A plurality of the processing nodes are combined into a plurality of sub-networks that comprise the network apparatus. Each processing node of a sub-network need only process address information pertaining, to the node's current layer, one layer above it, if any, and one layer below it, if any.
