Publication number: 20190184695Abstract: A service is provided over a communication network. Initially, information indicative of physical characteristics of an item specified by a requester is received along with a request to generate a physical three dimensional model for the item. The information is transformed into model data used to generate the three dimensional model. Components for generating the physical three dimensional model are obtained from storage. A physical three dimensional model for the item specified by the remote requestor is generated, and imagery descriptive of the physical three dimensional model is sent to the remote requestor via the communication network. The components used to generate the physical three dimensional model are returned to storage.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 26, 2019Publication date: June 20, 2019Applicant: AT&T INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY I, L.P.Inventors: James H. Publication number: 20190190949Abstract: A system for distributing virtual entity behavior profiling in cloud deployments is disclosed. In particular, the system may include conducting entity behavior profiling closer to where data and data logs are generated, such as at a hypervisor server, in a distributed fashion. By doing so, the system may reduce bandwidth consumption typically associated with transferring data to a central processing system, may be able to use more data collected closer to sources of data generation, and may provide faster reaction times because of the faster processing of data enabled by the system. Additionally, the system may assist with reducing false positives associated with malware detection and other compromises associated with entities by aggregating the results of distributed computations at different sites.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 26, 2019Publication date: June 20, 2019Applicant: AT&T Intellectual Property I, L.P.Inventors: Paul Giura, Gustavo de los Reyes

Publication number: 20190190814Abstract: Concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to routing stability in a hybrid software-defined networking (“SDN”) network in which control plane functionality is shared between a centralized SDN controller and a plurality of local routers. The controller can collect data plane messages from the plurality of local routers, extract information corresponding to source nodes and edges of a graph representative of the hybrid SDN network, and store the information as entries in a table. The controller can identify any outdated entries and remove any outdated entries from the table. The controller can obtain recovered information missing from the information collected from the data plane messages. The controller also can calculate an effective capacity of the edges. The controller can then generate a stable routing pattern based upon the recovered information and the effective capacity. The controller can deploy the stable routing pattern in the hybrid SDN network.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 18, 2017Publication date: June 20, 2019Applicants: AT&T Intellectual Property I, L.P., Cornell UniversityInventors: Shih-Hao Tseng, Ao Tang, Simon Tse, Gagan Choudhury

Publication number: 20190190819Abstract: Concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to deadlock-free traffic rerouting in software-defined networking (“SDN”) networks have been disclosed herein. According to one aspect of the concepts and technologies disclosed herein, a centralized SDN controller can determine that a packet flow along a path within at least a portion of a network is to be rerouted from the path to a new path. The centralized SDN controller can initiate a reroute of the packet flow to the new path. The centralized SDN controller can request a bandwidth for the new path. The bandwidth can be determined such that bandwidth oversubscription on the new path is avoided. In response to the packet flow settling on the new path, the centralized SDN controller can adjust a requested bandwidth of the packet flow to a desired value to complete the reroute of the packet flow from the path to the new path.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 18, 2017Publication date: June 20, 2019Applicant: AT&T Intellectual Property I, L.P.Inventors: Gagan Choudhury, Kang Xi, Simon Tse, Narayan Padi, Alvin Goddard, Aswatnarayan Raghuram

Publication number: 20190188022Abstract: Virtual redundancy for active-standby cloud applications is disclosed herein. A virtual machine (“VM”) placement scheduling system is disclosed herein. The system can compute, for each standby VM of a plurality of available standby VMs, a minimum required placement overlap delta to meet an entitlement assurance rate (“EAR”) threshold. The system can compute a minimum number of available VM slots for activating each standby VM to meet the EAR threshold. For each standby VM of a given application, the system can filter out any server of a plurality of servers that does not meet criteria. Patent number: 10326578Abstract: An early termination system for blind decoding is provided to decrease the computational resources utilized when decoding the physical resources, and decrease the time spent decoding. A blind decoding priority list can be used by the mobile device to preferentially decode specific physical resource elements as it specifies the order of all the candidate physical downlink control channels (PDCCHs). When the physical resource elements are decoded, if there is no more downlink control information in that transmission time interval, the downlink control information can include a termination bit, and the mobile device, upon identifying the termination bit can cease blind decoding of the remainder candidates. In this way, the blind decoding process more quickly identifies the downlink control information, and subsequent blind decoding is halted.Type: GrantFiled: February 13, 2017Date of Patent: June 18, 2019Assignee: AT&T INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY I, L.P.Inventors: Xiaoyi Wang, Ralf Bendlin, Arunabha Ghosh, SaiRamesh Nammi
