Patent number: 10448094Abstract: A system for providing video motion augmentation is disclosed. In particular, the system provides mechanisms for analyzing video content, metadata, or a combination thereof, to dynamically enhance and adapt regions of small movements or micro-movements in the video content based on a variety of inputs. The regions of small movements or micro-movements may be enhanced based on device characteristics associated with a device consuming the video content, based on a theme associated with the content, based on sensor data, based on user feedback, and based on a variety of other inputs. For example, motion content in the video content may be enhanced and emphasized based on the display resolution or other device characteristics of a device requesting the video content. Once the enhanced video content is generated based on the inputs, the enhanced content may be provided to the device requesting the content.Type: GrantFiled: January 25, 2018Date of Patent: October 15, 2019Assignee: AT&T Intellectual Property I, L.P.Inventors: Eric Zavesky, James E. Patent number: 10448301Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, determining a demand for real-time services to a first mobile device, by way of a base station of an LTE system. In response, utilization of a first wireless channel of a first radio of the base station is evaluated. The first radio supports a first wireless service that includes the real-time service and a non-real-time service to a second mobile device within the same cellular region. A handover of the second mobile device to a second radio of the base station is facilitated in response to the utilization. The second radio is configured to support a second wireless service that excludes the real-time service within the same cellular region. Responsive to the handover, the second radio supports the non-real-time service over the second wireless channel to the second mobile device within the cellular region. Other embodiments are disclosed.Type: GrantFiled: October 11, 2018Date of Patent: October 15, 2019Assignee: AT&T Mobility II LLCInventor: John McCann

Patent number: 10447713Abstract: Concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to internet traffic classification via time-frequency analysis. According to one aspect of the concepts and technologies disclosed herein, a security classification scheme can be implemented to identify potentially malicious activities from normal internet traffic. The security classification scheme can exploit the distinctive characteristics of different types of traffic in both frequency domain and time domain to identify four different cases. Due to the separation of different types of traffic, the security classification scheme can lower the false alarm rate and improve network security. The security classification scheme can utilize a recursive discrete Fourier transform (“DFT”) implementation to enhance computational efficiency.Type: GrantFiled: April 26, 2017Date of Patent: October 15, 2019Assignees: AT&T Intellectual Property I, L.P., AT&T Technical Services Company, Inc.Inventors: Rensheng Zhang, Richard Hellstern, Anestis Karasaridis, Patrick Velardo, Jr.

Patent number: 10440956Abstract: An adhesive used in underground applications where vegetation is present wherein the adhesive has been doped with a material or materials that deter the growth properties of adjacent vegetation. The materials can include Zinc, Copper Sulfate, Copper Oxide, as well as sulfates of Zinc, Manganese, and Nickel, in quantities that will repel or deter the advancement of roots and invasive vegetation into fittings and joints in an underground system. The adhesive is used to bond a conduit and a fitting in an air-tight and water tight seal, and the inclusion of the root deterrent material resists invasion of nearby roots into the piping. The root deterring supplements to the adhesive to not degrade the performance of the adhesive and actually repel roots in the vicinity of the materials.Type: GrantFiled: November 11, 2015Date of Patent: October 15, 2019Assignee: T.
