Abstract: A system and method for testing a charger. A power-end of a charger is received in a power port of a charger tester. An adapter module is received in an adapter port, the adapter module being connected to an adapter-end of the charger. The charger tester is automatically activated to power the charger through the power port in response to the adapter module being received by the adapter port. Performance characteristics of the charger are measured. The performance characteristics of the charger are displayed to a user to indicate functionality of the charger.

Abstract: A system, device, and method for inspecting the cosmetic and operational features of electronic devices, including computing and telecommunications devices. The cosmetic inspection system includes an image capture unit for capturing the images of the electronic devices, and a user interface for processing the captured images and providing relevant information to the user of the system. Images of the external components such as external casing materials or touch screens of electronic devices are captured and the cosmetic inspection system uses baseline images to make determinations to identify defective components of the electronic devices. Based on these determinations, the system may conclude which, if any, replacement components of the devices are needed to restore the electronic device. In one embodiment, a user of the system may then be provided with information through a user interface about defective components and options for ordering replacement components.

Abstract: A system and method for processing an electronic device. The electronic device is identified. User instructions associated with the electronic device are retrieved utilizing a testing system. The user instructions are communicated from the testing system for performing cosmetic inspection of the electronic device, customer personal information (CPI) analysis of the electronic device, software analysis of the electronic device, validation and restoring of default content software and settings, and functional testing. Verification information is received from a user of implementation of the user instructions.

The positioning of the wireless device and the RF antenna coupler correspond to acceptable RF characteristics for testing the wireless device. Positions of the wireless device and the RF antenna coupler are identified. The identified positions are utilized to perform subsequent testing of similar wireless devices.

Abstract: A system and method for verifying memory cards. A memory card is received in a card reader in communication with a computing device. The memory card is scanned utilizing a computing device. A visual indicator is displayed on the computing device indicating whether the card is functioning correctly and whether the memory card passed or failed the scanning. An identifier associated with the memory card is stored in response to determining the memory card passed the scanning. A first volume name of the memory card is rewritten to the second volume name in response to storing the identifier.
