Abstract: This invention relates to electronic image frames, and in particular to electronic image frames having an electronics housing portion and a detachable frame portion that is secured in place by a tab and slot mechanism.
Abstract: A folding chair includes first and second parts each having at least one leg, a total number legs of the first and second parts being at least three. A third part of the chair forms a seat and is pivotally connected to the first and second parts. A connecting assembly for pivotally connecting the first part to the second part is a piston assembly having a top end and a bottom end. The top end is pivotally connected to the first part to form a pivot at which the first part pivots relative to the second part between an open position and a closed position. The bottom end is connected to the second part. The connection between the top end and the first part forms the only physical connection between the first and second parts to eliminate cutting dangers to the user.

Abstract: A plasma lamp head that has a spherical plasma bulb whose upper hemisphere serves as the top of the head, a decorative face and lower back of the head covering the lower hemisphere of the bulb. Operative components are provide to enable the bulb to illuminate in response to receipt of appropriate energy delivery to excite the plasma within the bulb to illuminate. The face preferably has eyes, a nose, a mouth and ears, any of which may be transparent or translucent so that light shines through when the bulb illuminates. The remainder of the decorative face and lower back of the head may be opaque or translucent material.

Abstract: An electric toothbrush having a handle which houses a motor and a toothbrush member. The toothbrush member is configured for coupling with the handle. The toothbrush member has a plurality of brushes that rotate in opposite directions to enhance teeth cleaning, plaque removal and gum prophylaxis. Two separate switches are provided, one providing momentary operation and the other continuous.
Abstract: A support structure for foldable furniture to provide support to cross-rods or cross-members when in a crossed, open position and yet permit them to fold into a parallel, closed position. The support structure includes a body having an aperture defined by opposed surfaces and further surfaces. The cross rods or cross-members may rest on or against the further surfaces in their crossed, open position and against the opposed surfaces in their parallel, closed position.
Abstract: A monitor of a body parameter of an infant, comprises at least one monitoring station having at least one sensor arranged to sense a body parameter of an infant, a controller responsive to the sensing of the body parameter of the infant by the at least one sensor to generate a signal that is either indicative of the sensed body parameter or indicative of a result from a comparison of the sensed body parameter with at least one value, and a transceiver arranged to transmit the signal in response to direction from the controller and at least one companion station having a further transceiver and having an output device and being spaced from the at least one monitoring station, the further transceiver being responsive to receipt of the signal to transmit the signal to the output device.
Abstract: A stand for displaying a decorative wreath, comprising (a) a substantially rectangular base; (b) two substantially vertical wreath support arms, each having a support attachment arm attached to the back edge of the base, a support extension that is continuous with the support attachment arm and extends therefrom in an upward direction, and a wreath attachment arm that is continuous with the support extension; (c) a substantially rectangular stabilizing frame arrayed above the base by a distance sufficient to stabilize the stand when the wreath is displayed in the substantially vertical display alignment in conjunction therewith; (d) a plurality of stabilizing rods extending between the base and the stabilizing frame and connecting the frame to the base; and (e) a wreath stabilizing brace securably attached to the stabilizing frame and comprising (i) a brace attachment bar securably attached to the front edge of the frame and extending therefrom to the back edge thereof, (ii) a brace attachment arm that is con
Abstract: A combination of a reinforcing grommet in a D-shape or a closed horseshoe shape and a supporting brace for holding a tensioned surface on an inclined frame element of a frame of a collapsible furniture item, such as a chair, a stool, lounger, table, a cot or a bed. A contact portion of a lower surface of the grommet rests on a brace and a remaining portion of the lower surface spans a recess in the brace. The brace is freely movable to and fro relative to the frame tube so as to minimize tearing forces.
