  • Patent number: 4501005
Abstract: A device for indicating required vehicle maintainence at predetermined elapsed mileage intervals includes a clock generator which is driven by the vehicle engine ignition pulse. The clock output is fed to a frequency divider, which in turn drives four counters. Each counter includes AND logic connected to selected outputs thereof to be switched on after a pre-determined count is obtained by the counter. The AND logic of each counter drives a flip-flop which actuates an LED warning lamp. Each counter circuit includes a reset button which resets the counter and its associated flip-flop. The LEDs may be labelled with a service function which should be performed after the time interval indicated by the respective LED.

  • Patent number: 4456084
Abstract: A system for monitoring the load carried by a vehicle includes a plurality of load cells, each extending between the load bed and the unsprung portion of the vehicle suspension. Each load cell includes an hydraulic cylinder which generates an hydraulic force corresponding to the load applied thereto. A pressure transducer is connected to the hydraulic cylinder, and the outputs of the transducers are summed and fed to an auto zeroing system. The output of this system is connected to an A/D converter, and thence to a visual display. The A/D converter output is also fed to a digital comparator which is connected to a BCD switch set to an overload level. If the load exceeds the BCD input, an overload alarm is sounded.

  • Patent number: 4428579
Abstract: A device for agitating, casting, and displaying dice includes a base housing having a pair of arms extending upwardly from opposed sides thereof. A dice housing is rotatably supported by the arms, and includes a window for viewing the dice within the housing. One of the support arms includes a lamp disposed to illuminate the interior of the dice housing, the base housing including a battery and a switch for selectively illuminating the lamp. The interior of the dice housing is lined with resilient baffled inserts extending at oblique angles to enhance the agitation of the dice as the dice housing is rotated.

  • Patent number: 4397056
Abstract: A power assisted device for cleaning toilet bowls includes an elongated stem portion having a brush at the distal end thereof, and a spray outlet port proximate to the brush. The brush is joined to a reciprocally rotating shaft extending through the stem to provide agitation to the brush. At the proximal end of the stem, a housing includes a pump connected between a liquid cleanser tank and a tubing extending from the pump to the spray outlet. The housing includes rechargeable batteries to drive the pump and a motor assembly which drives the brush.
