Abstract: An in-room IOT control system includes a base module, a voice and touch interactive display extending above the base module, and a controller operable by the user to remotely (e.g., wirelessly) control the state of a plurality of environmental features including temperature, music, lighting, curtains, water, hotel services, amenities and entertainment. The display includes a digital mouth, the movement of which is synchronized to synthesized speech spoken by the module.
Abstract: An IOT module includes a thermostat controller operable by the user to remotely (e.g., wirelessly) control the state of the relay which, in turn, operates the PTAC/HVAC unit in much the same way (typically a wired connection) as the wall mounted thermostat previously did so before being replaced (or augmented) by the relay.
Abstract: A system for customizing a hotel, timeshare, or rental property guest experience includes a layered in-room PaaS System with an IOT network control module configured to control a plurality of IOT connected room devices including a remotely controlled electronic or mechanical devices; a Cloud platform to collect system, property and guest data that will then be processed through analytics and algorithms to improve the guest experience and deliver cost savings for the property, a mobile app running on a guest mobile device, the mobile app configured to remotely control the IOT network control module; an enterprise server configured to communicate with the IOT network control module; and a local computing module configured to communicate with the enterprise server, wherein the enterprise server controls the transmission of data between the IOT network control module and the property.

Abstract: Modular system of interfacing consumer electronics devices. The system includes a powered base hub and additional modular components with interface couplers providing electrical continuity between modules. Data transmission between modules may be through the interface couplers or wireless. The system includes a power cord for providing power to the base or wireless pad, but it need not include any additional power or data cords or cables.
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a specialized truck bed wherein the bed is divided into two areas or deck sections connected by a transverse hinge. The invention is also directed to a winch system for use on a vehicle. The invention is further directed to an improved locking post or post assembly for use with the specialized truck bed of the present invention.
