Patents Assigned to Atsugi Motor Parts, Co., Ltd.
  • Patent number: 4349077
Abstract: An electric vehicle-level control device is provided for controlling an electrically operated fluid pressure control device for a pneumatic, hydraulic or hydro-pneumatic suspension unit such as a hydro-pneumatic suspension strut of a self-levelling suspension system for an automotive vehicle. The control device comprises a timing or delay circuit adapted to deliver an output signal at a predetermined retarded timing following generation of (1) a signal responsive to a vehicle level higher or lower than a predetermined value, or (2) a signal responsive to shutdown of a power plant such as an internal combustion engine of an automotive vehicle.

  • Patent number: 4327936
Abstract: A pneumatic self-levelling vehicle suspension system including an air compressor, an air reservoir communicating with the air compressor, an air dehumidifier unit intervening between the air compressor and reservoir, and a variable-length pneumatic suspension unit having an air inlet port communicable with the air reservoir across a two-position valve and an air discharge port through which an excess of air is to be discharged to the open air from the suspension unit, wherein arrangements are made so that the air discharge port of the suspension unit is made open to the atmosphere by way of the air dehumidifier unit for automatically regenerating the regenerative desiccative chemical composition contained in the air dehumidifier unit.

  • Patent number: 4186652
Abstract: A servo valve for a power steering booster comprises a power piston and cylinder assembly including a power piston reciprocatively movable therewithin and a spool assembly including a hollow spool for controlling selective supply and discharge of hydraulic pressures onto and from both sides of the power piston, a pair of reaction pistons slidably fitted within ends of the hollow spool to form a reaction hydraulic chamber therewithin, a reaction spring interposed between the reaction pistons, cover plates closing the ends of the hollow spool, through which a steering input transmission shaft passes, and reaction support pins of bearing rollers made with a high dimensional accuracy held in guide holes formed in the cover plates between the respective reaction pistons and partitions located at ends of a housing slidably accommodating the spool assembly and having ports for the selective supply and discharge of hydraulic pressures, thereby eliminating the high accuracy machining of parts associated with the spool

  • Patent number: 4173987
Abstract: A hydraulic power steering system including a rotary control valve having an inner sleeve rotatable with the input stub shaft and a concentric outer sleeve mounted for rotation with the output worm shaft. The inner sleeve is formed on its outer periphery with axially extending equally spaced pressure and return slots associated with axially extending equally spaced slots for fluid flow switching operation. The inner sleeve has an annular recess on its inner periphery and an orifice radially extending through the inner sleeve for permitting the supply of pressure fluid into the annular recess. A piston member may be inserted between the inner sleeve and the stub shaft for rotation with the stub shaft and for sliding movement on the stub shaft. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, a plate member having thereon a projection such as a ball is provided for rotation with the outer sleeve.

  • Patent number: 4087213
Abstract: A self-aligning reciprocating plunger pump particularly suitable for use in a water jet loom which makes use of a water jet for the purpose of picking a weft into warp openings. The pump is provided in its casing with a push rod slidably mounted in a guide hole formed in the casing and driven by a cam. The push rod is abutted through a spherical surface member provided on a plunger slidably mounted in a cylinder against the plunger.A main valve box connected to a discharge opening provided in a cover casing is arranged adjacent to a control valve box connected to a water jet device which is fastened to the main valve box by bolts.
