Abstract: A method for operating a driver assistance device for a motor vehicle. A drive potential is respectively determined from all driven wheels of at least one axis of the motor vehicle. The drive potentials are compared and a braking device with a specific wheel braking force is controlled for braking the wheel having a lower drive potential.
Abstract: A charging device for securing a charging process of a high-voltage battery of a motor vehicle, which may be provided with a first connecting device for coupling a charging cable of a charging station external to a vehicle and a second connecting device for connecting the high-voltage battery. A diode element may be provided between the first connecting device and the second connecting device, which may be adapted to independently allow a charging current to flow from the charging stations into the battery and prevent a discharge current from flowing from the high-voltage battery to the charging station. The charging device may further include a monitoring device configured to detect a predetermined feedback situation, in which the diode element blocks the discharge current or prevents the discharge current from flowing through the diode element during a defect. When a feedback situation is detected, a predetermined emergency shutoff measure is taken.

Abstract: A method for producing a threaded hole in a workpiece with a thread tapping tool bit, which, at its drill bit tip, has a main cutting edge and a thread profile that trails in a thread tapping direction with at least one thread cutting tooth, wherein, in a thread tapping stroke, the main cutting edge produces a core hole, and, at the same time, the thread profile forms an internal thread at the inner wall of the core hole until a target thread depth is reached, and this is conducted with a thread tapping advance in the thread tapping direction and at a thread tapping rotational speed of the thread tapping tool bit synchronized therewith. After the thread tapping stroke, an oppositely directed reversing stroke is produced, in which the thread tapping tool bit is withdrawn out from the threaded hole in a reversing direction and, in fact, this is conducted with an opposite reversing feed.
Abstract: A dual clutch transmission for a motor vehicle. A gearwheel set switchable via switching elements, which form eight wheel planes and which are respectively assigned to a first sub-transmission and to a second sub-transmission, among which each sub-transmission is provided with an input shaft and both sub-transmissions are provided with a common output shaft. The input shafts, which are coaxial to each other, can be alternately activated via a load-shiftable clutch, and the even forward gears are assigned to the first sub-transmission, while the odd forward gears are assigned to the second sub-transmission, which are shiftable during a gear switch via the switching elements. The input shafts are free of the rotationally fixed gearwheels of the wheel planes arranged thereupon.
Abstract: A hinge for a hinged opening of a vehicle includes a first hinge part and a second hinge part which are connected to one another via an axis of rotation so as to be movable relative to one another. The first hinge part has a slot and the second hinge part has a fitting hole. A screw is received through the slot of the first hinge part and fitting hole of the second hinge part. A shaped nut clamps the first hinge part and the second hinge part against the screw. The shaped nut forms a step that includes a first part received in the slot and a second part protruding from the first hinge part and resting on an edge of the slot.

Abstract: A method for responding to a fire-critical battery state in a motor vehicle having at least one battery, and a motor vehicle designed to carry out such a method. A battery temperature of the at least one battery of the motor vehicle is continuously detected by at least one temperature sensor. The method includes the following steps: Continuous detection of a temperature change in the battery based on the continuously detected battery temperature; verifying whether the detected temperature change exceeds a specified threshold defining a fire-critical battery state; and activating at least one vehicle function in order to perform a protective and/or warning measure by a control unit, if the fire-critical battery state is reached.
Abstract: A dual-clutch transmission for a motor vehicle, with gear wheel sets engageable via shift elements, with the gear wheel sets forming particularly precisely eight wheel planes, each of which is allocated to a first sub-transmission and a second sub-transmission, of which each sub-transmission has an input shaft and both sub-transmissions have a common output shaft. The input shafts, which are coaxial with respect to one another, can each be activated in an alternating manner via a power-shift clutch, and the even forward gears are allocated to the first sub-transmission and the odd forward gears are allocated to the second sub-transmission, which can be engaged upon a gear change by way of the shift elements.

Abstract: A method for operating a drive device for a motor vehicle. The drive device has an internal combustion engine, an output shaft, and a clutch connected between the internal combustion engine and the output shaft. In a coasting operating mode, an idling speed control of the internal combustion engine to an idling speed is carried out and the clutch is opened, and, in an overrun operating mode, the clutch is closed. When shifting from the coasting operating mode to the overrun operating mode, while, at the same time, carrying out the idling speed control of the internal combustion engine to the idling speed, the clutch is closed, so that an entrainment of the internal combustion engine occurs.
Abstract: A drive device for an all-wheel drive, two-track motor vehicle, in the drive train of which a first motor vehicle axle and, via a center clutch, a second motor vehicle axle are driven permanently by a drive assembly in driving operation. In the closed state of the center clutch, the second vehicle axle is engaged with the drive train, and, in the open state of the clutch, the second vehicle axle is decoupled from the drive train. In a driving situation with engaged all-wheel drive as well as with axle friction coefficients of varying size, a greater wheel torque can be taken up at the vehicle axle with a large axle friction coefficient than at the vehicle axle with a small axle friction coefficient, and a control instrument is provided, which, for engine torque limitation, limits the drive assembly to a maximum allowed engine torque.
