Abstract: A multitenant infrastructure server (MTIS) is configured to provide an environment to execute a computer routine of an arbitrary application. The MTIS receives a request from a webtask server to execute the computer routine in a webtask container. The computer routine is executed in the webtask container at the MTIS. Upon successful execution of the computer routine, a result set is returned to the webtask server. If the execution of the computer routine is unsuccessful, an error notification is returned to the webtask server. The resources consumed during the execution of the computer routine are determined. The webtask container is destroyed to prevent persistent storage of the computer routine on the MTIS.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described for provisioning cloud-based database systems and performing decoupled maintenance. For example, conventional systems may rely on database management systems to provision and modify databases hosted by a service provider. However, for entities operating complex database systems with the need for highly customized cloud infrastructure, database management systems fail to provide the granular customization and the control necessary to create and service these systems. In contrast, the described solutions provide an improvement over conventional database management system architecture by providing direct communication between an entity and its cloud-based database systems via command line prompts or API calls, decoupling database system maintenance from database system provisioning process to increase the speed and granular customization of the database system.

Abstract: A method and system of an identity service to provide a single point of access for a plurality of applications for an authentication of a user identity. An authentication request is received from an application via an application program interface (API), wherein the authentication request includes logon information. The authentication request is translated to one or more identity providers. Upon authentication, serially executing one or more programmatic extension scripts associated with the user. Privileges are granted to the user based on at least one of the programmatic extension scripts associated with the user.
