Abstract: A brake disc including two plates spaced apart from each other and connected together by ventilating blocks distributed in concentric circular rows including a first outlet row of blocks through which air exits the gap between the two plates and a second row upstream of the outlet row along the air flow direction. The blocks angularly offset from one row to the next. The blocks of the outlet row and of the upstream row are arranged to provide between them a first ring wherein the air entering between the plates is compressed, and a second ring wherein the air compressed in the first ring is sucked and then evacuated from the gap between the plates.
Abstract: A flexible axle for motor vehicle has a cross-member (1) connecting two longitudinal arms (2), wherein said cross-member (1) has a closed cross-section, and said cross-member has, at least in a central zone, a substantially trapezoid cross-section (11).

Abstract: A method for making an axle rotating portion including a hub, at least one rolling bearing, and a stub axle, the rotating portion configured to receive a brake disc. The method includes at least one machining of the support surface of the hub, against which the disc is configured to be urged to press, the machining being carried out on a subassembly foamed by assembling at least the hub and the roller bearing and to obtain at least one part of the support surface substantially perpendicular to the axis of the roller bearing in the subassembly.
Abstract: The invention concerns a motor vehicle flexible axle comprising two longitudinal arms (20) connected by a cross bracing (10) with open cross-section whereof the flanks (11), (21) have each an edge (1), (2) extending between docking zones (4) with the ends of said cross bracing. The invention is characterized in that said edges (1), (2) have a non-rectilinear shape enhancing their tensioning when said cross member is subjected to torsion, said tensioning enabling said docking zones (4) to be relieved of stresses due to said torsion.
Abstract: A structure for a motor vehicle front end assembly includes a mini-cradle having mounted thereon a suspension arm for each wheel of the front end assembly. The suspension arm has the shape of a boomerang. The supporting end of the suspension arm is coupled to a wheel. A front articulation end (point A) and a rear articulation end of the arm are coupled to the mini-cradle. The mini-cradle has a body and two side rails that extend towards the vehicle front. The two side rails are coupled, via a coupling unit, to a side member of the vehicle in a zone located forward, relative to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, of point A of the suspension arm. The coupling unit includes at least one hollow body allowing a through screwing unit to couple the rail with the side member.

Abstract: A piece of equipment for production of a closed-section cross-member configured to connect two longitudinal arms of a flexible axle of a motor vehicle. The equipment includes at least one matrix configured to cooperate with a punch to form a torsion area of a certain length on the closed section of the cross-member and a mechanism to maintain the cross-member in position. The length of the matrix and/or the punch can be adapted to adapt the length of the torsion area.
