Abstract: Power transmission apparatus especially suited for wheels of a vehicle, having an outer joint section coupled to a driving shaft and an inner joint section coupled to a driven shaft, with the driven shaft being rotatably mounted in a frame. An inner end of the frame is at least partially situated within a movement range of the outer joint section when the driving shaft and driven shaft are turned at an angle with respect to one another. At least one notch is also provided in the frame, into which the outer joint section at least partially penetrates when the turning angle between the driven shaft and driving shaft is sufficiently large.
