Patents Assigned to Automatic Feed Company
  • Patent number: 9604796
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system for transporting work pieces from one location to another. • Patent number: 8253064
Abstract: A laser blanking device for high speed cutting of a rapidly fed strip of coil stock is disclosed and includes a support frame extending along a first longitudinal axis and a conveyor supported by the support frame. A strip of coil stock material is fed onto the conveyor at a pinch roll located near a first end of the frame. Transverse, moveable gantries above the conveyor suspend lasers. A pinch roll located near a second end of the frame assists movement of the material. Multiple laser cutting operations are simultaneously performed on the material as it moves along the device, and a laser head suspended from a gantry situated after the second pinch roll completes a cut that separates a blank from the remainder of the stock material.

  • Patent number: 6598445
Abstract: An assembly and method for leveling a metal strip by working the strip back-and-forth through a plurality of work rolls. Work rolls are disposed for engaging the strip. A backup roll supports the work roll against the strip. A cam roll supports the backup roll and is mounted to a frame with a bracket. A position guide assembly is associated with the backup roll for selectively adjusting a relative position of the backup roll to the cam roll. The position guide preferably comprises a screw and guide pin assembly mounted to the frame and a yoke attached to end portions of a plurality of the backup rolls. The adjusting comprises moving the backup roll relative to the cam roll to avoid undesired wear on only limited portions of the backup rolls.
