  • Patent number: 11653039
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, a system, a video camera, and a server all for dynamically batching a video stream from a video camera. The method comprising the steps of: capturing, by the video camera, a video stream; identifying two or more intended subscribers of the video stream, said subscribers connected to the video camera via the packet-switched network; determining a sensitivity to latency for each subscriber; batching the video stream into a plurality of batches, wherein the size of each batch of the plurality of batches is based on the subscriber determined to be most sensitive to latency; and transmitting the plurality of batches of the video stream to each subscriber.

  • Patent number: 11409603
Abstract: A computer-implemented method of storing an item of data across a plurality of storage media, the method comprising the steps of: receiving an item of data to be stored; splitting the item of data into N pieces of data; generating M redundancy pieces of data, usable to rebuild the item of data; storing each of the N pieces of data and M redundancy pieces of data on separate storage media of the plurality of storage media at a same offset within a file of the respective storage medium, the files of the storage media containing the N pieces of data and the M redundancy pieces of data being associated as a file set; and storing, separately to the N pieces of data and M redundancy pieces of data, the offset and the file set.

  • Patent number: 11322137
Abstract: A video camera, a computer-implemented method, and a computer-readable storage medium. The video camera including one or more microphones and a processor. The processor is configured to: acquire an output from the or each microphone; apply one or more pre-analysis filters to the or each acquired output, wherein the or each pre-analysis filter determines if the or each acquired output contains a corresponding predetermined feature of interest; and analyse the or each output, when it is determined by the or each pre-analysis filter that the corresponding output contains at least one predetermined feature of interest.
