  • Publication number: 20150120904
Abstract: A first communication session is created with a first application written in first language. A change is detected in first variables in the first application. The first variables are retrieved from the first application in response to detecting a change in the first variables. The first communication session is transferred to a second application written in a second language. A change is detected in a second variable in the second application. The second variable is retrieved from the second application in response to detecting the change in the second variable. A common pair of variables are matched between the first variables and the second variable. The first communication session and the transferred first communication session are associated as a common communication session in response to matching the common pair of variables. One or more of the first plurality of variables is then used by the second application.

Abstract: Providing origin insight via Session Traversal Utilities for Network Address Translation (STUN) messages for web applications, and related methods, systems, and computer-readable media are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a method for providing origin insight for web applications via STUN messages comprises determining an origin identifier for a web application attempting to send a STUN message to a STUN server; generating the STUN message incorporating the origin identifier for the web application; and transmitting the STUN message to the STUN server. In another embodiment, a method for providing STUN services to web applications comprises receiving a STUN message from a web client, and extracting an origin identifier for a web application. Provision of a STUN service to the web application is determined based on the origin identifier. If the STUN service should not be provided, the STUN message is rejected or disregarded; otherwise the STUN message is processed.

  • Patent number: 9019337
Abstract: The system and method capture an image of a presenter of a presentation. The image of the presenter may be a still image or a video stream. In one embodiment, the image of the presenter has the background removed. An image of the presentation is captured. The image of the presentation may be a still image or a video stream. A transition, such as a gesture or movement of the presenter is detected. In response to the detection of the transition, an image of the presenter is superimposed on the image of the presentation to create a combined image. Alternatively, in response to the transition, the image of the presenter is removed from the presentation. The combined image or the image of the presentation with the image of the presenter removed is then sent to participants viewing the presentation.

  • Patent number: 9020120
Abstract: A system, method, and computer readable medium are provided to manage a conference. The start of a conference is identified. For example, the start of the conference is identified when a host dials into a conference bridge. A timeline is created for the conference based on a first event that occurs at the start of the conference. The timeline includes the first event. The timeline is updated in real-time with a second event, as a second event occurs during the conference. This process is repeated throughout the conference. The timeline is rendered for display to one or more participants in the conference. The conference is then displayed to the conference participants, thus providing the conference participants with a real-time timeline of the conference.

  • Patent number: 9021118
Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable storage media for presenting temporal aspects of a group of tags associated with a primary media stream. The temporal aspects of the tags are presented by obtaining temporal metadata for the tags, generating a secondary media stream for the media event based on the temporal metadata, and delivering the secondary media stream to a user terminal, such that the secondary media stream is navigable at the user terminal. The secondary media stream includes a sequence of representations of the tags visually depicting a relative significance of the tags during different intervals of times for the media event. Changes in the relative significance of the tags between successive representations can be depicted by changing at least one of a size, position, a shape, and a color of indicia associated with the tags.

  • Patent number: 9019964
Abstract: Methods and systems for routing application traffic to an operable system manager are provided. In particular, an arbiter application is provided to identify a currently active system manager. The arbiter application provides an address for the active system manager to a routing node. Applications send communications to the active system manager by associating such communications with a virtual system manager address. Such communications are delivered to the routing node, which associates the actual address for the currently active system manager with the communication. The communications are then delivered to the active system manager using the actual address.

  • Patent number: 9020135
Abstract: A contact center system can receive messages from consumers. The system can then interact with the consumer or customer using a dialog. Before conducting the session with the consumer, past interactions using the dialog are reviewed to determine words, phrases, and other information that caused the dialog to be successful. The information is stored as norms. Upon beginning a new interaction with the dialog, the norms and the past successful dialogs are retrieved and compared to the active dialog while the interaction is on-going. The comparison is then used to ensure that the present active dialog will lead to a successful outcome or to resolve any issued if the outcome is not likely to be successful.
