Abstract: Plastic fastener and plastic fastener assembly. Abstract: A re-closable carton device is disclosed for transporting footwear and other articles. The re-closable carton device comprises a pair of opposing side panels, a base panel joined to the side panels and having a pair of opposing side flanges, and a lid closure side panel hingedly attached to the rear side panel. The lid closure side panel comprises female recess areas which engage with the male locking tabs of the front side panel. Specifically, the male locking tabs engage the female recess areas such that the male locking tabs partially enter the female recess areas and press against the female recess areas to distort the front flap of the lid closure side panel and to produce an audible sound or “click” when the carton device is fully closed to alert a user that the carton device has been reclosed adequately.
Abstract: According to one exemplary embodiment a system, method and apparatus for an indicator driven by a RFID tag for localization purposes may be disclosed. An RFID tag may be disposed on an item. The RFID tag may have an indicator element. A RFID reader may be in communication with the RFID tag such that the indicator element can be activated in order to localize the item.
Abstract: An aqueous based topcoating formulation is provided to coat various substrates such as those used in offset and electrographic printing devices. The water based coating formulation includes ethylene acrylic acid copolymer, polyethyleneimine, and a suitable crosslinker. The formulation exhibits excellent adhesion to substrates and excellent anchorage with different printing inks.

Abstract: Adhesive compositions exhibiting antimicrobial properties, good stability, long shelf lives and enhanced release of antimicrobial agents are described. In certain versions, the compositions also exhibit relatively high fluid handling capacities. The adhesive compositions inhibit microbial growth by more than 2 log after 24 hours contact and particularly more than 3.5 log after 6 hours contact. Also described are various medical articles using such adhesives and related methods.
Abstract: Provided herein is a retroreflective article comprising a retroreflective film and a plurality of isosceles triangular pyramid prisms embossed on the back surface of the retroreflective film. The prisms are configured such that the article reflects an incident light beam into two reflected light beams that are offset from and on opposite sides of the incident light beam. The two reflected light beams can provide two viewing zones located at different positions relative to the incident light beam source.
Abstract: A fastener assembly having a unique pawl design for the head portion of a fastener assembly. The fastener assembly may be a cable tie that includes a head portion having a pawl that includes a primary pawl tooth, at least one set of secondary pawl teeth, and a shelf support feature for pawl. The fastener assembly of the present invention prevent pawl roll out which is a failure that currently occurs with fastener assembly currently available in the market place.

Abstract: Water-activatable, linerless adhesive articles and related methods are described. The adhesive articles utilize a dry, non-tacky protective layer for protecting the adhesive layer from contamination and therefore do not require a release liner. The protective layer includes at least one of amorphous polyvinyl alcohol and poly(ethylene oxide). The adhesive articles are bonded to a substrate by applying a polar solvent, such as water, to the protective layer, which mix to form a tacky material. The tacky material forms a weak, temporary bond with the substrate and allows the adhesive articles to be repositioned on the substrate. The tacky material gradually pools together at the substrate/adhesive article interface to expose the underlying adhesive layer. The exposed adhesive layer then forms a permanent bond with the substrate.
Abstract: Labels and multilayer adhesive assemblies and laminates are described that contain one or more tamper indicating layers. After adhering to a surface of interest, upon attempted removal of the label from the surface or other manipulation of the label, the label separates along the tamper indicating layer. One or both exposed faces of the separated tamper indicating layer may include tamper indicating and or authenticity indicating provisions such as indicia to further provide evidence of attempted tampering.
