Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and an apparatus of generating a surround view monitoring (SVM) image. The method includes: obtaining installation information of an actual camera installed on a ship; setting a virtual camera to orient toward a ground plane perpendicularly within a world coordinate system; calculating a conversion relationship between the virtual camera and the actual camera, based on the installation information of the actual camera; generating the SVM image based on the calculated conversion relationship; and controlling the ship based on the generated SVM image.

Abstract: A navigation assistance system using a plurality of sensors according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes a display configured to provide a monitoring image, a sensor unit including at least one sensor, a memory in which at least one program is stored, and at least one processor configured to execute the at least one program, wherein the at least one processor obtains image frame information of an object using a first sensor, calculates information about the object using a second sensor, calculates a risk of collision between a host ship and the object by fusing the image frame information of the object and the information about the object, and determines an avoidance path based on the calculated collision risk.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and a device generating a navigational route using an integrated electronic chart, which includes receiving a plurality of electronic charts with different scales; extracting at least one overlapping area of the plurality of electronic charts; integrating the plurality of electronic charts into the integrated electronic chart; dividing the integrated electronic chart into a configurable grid; generating an initial route using first object information in the configurable grid; mapping second object information detected by a sensing device onto the integrated electronic chart; and resetting the initial route using the second object information. According to the method and device of the present disclosure, the integrated electronic chart allows for efficient use of computing resources. Overall route calculation time and memory usage is reduced, and each area is accurately expressed.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to other-ship tracking monitoring for tracking and monitoring other ships around a ship, and includes a sensor information collection unit, a selection information collection unit, a tracking camera unit configured to track a selected other ship and collect an enlarged image, and a control unit, wherein the control unit controls the tracking camera unit by considering a size and a position of the selected other ship appearing in the image information.
Abstract: A device according to an aspect includes a memory in which at least one program is stored and at least one processor configured to execute the at least one program, wherein the at least one processor obtains information about a candidate object using a distance detection sensor, obtains an image of the candidate object using an image capturing sensor, determines whether the candidate object is a real object using the image of the candidate object, and displays a marker containing information about the candidate object determined to be a real object on a monitoring image.
