Abstract: A system and a method for processing documents using mobile payment to instantly activate privilege are provided with a mobile device, a cloud server, a proxy server and a document-processing device connected to a network. Users can hold the mobile device to approach the document-processing device to perform corresponding operation in generation of a setting of parameters. The cloud server acquires the setting of parameters through the network and transmits the setting of parameters to the proxy server in exchange for dedicated pictogram authentication information. The document-processing device provides pictogram information according to the pictogram authentication information. The mobile device performs and completes a payment procedure according to the pictogram information. The cloud server then instantly transmits an execution command to drive the document-processing device so as to enhance operational convenience and efficiency.
Abstract: A sensing device includes a housing, a supporting component, a grating module, a first roller, a second roller, and a control unit. When a media contacts with the second roller, the second roller drives the first roller to move the supporting component relative to the housing according to a thickness of the media, so as to adjust positions of the first roller and a grating wheel of the grating module relative to the housing. When the media drives the second roller to rotate, the second roller drives the first roller to rotate the grating wheel. The control unit determines whether the media proceeds at a predetermined speed according to a corresponding sensing signal generated by the grating module during rotation of the grating wheel, which allows a user to recognize a progress state of the media.

Abstract: In a multi-purpose peripheral, a first cover pivotally disposed on a body has a lower surface and a platen portion opposite the lower surface; a second cover pivotally disposed on the body is separated from the first cover by a gap; a first scan assembly movably disposed in the body acquires an image of a first document covered, by the lower surface of the first cover, onto a transparent platen of the body; a transporting mechanism disposed in the body and the second cover transports a second document on the first cover; and a second scan assembly disposed in the second cover acquires an image of the second document transported by the transporting mechanism past the second scan assembly. Upper surfaces of the second cover and the first cover are disposed on the same horizontal surface.
Abstract: A portable image capture device includes a main body, an image capture assembly and a handle assembly. The main body includes a top surface, a bottom side disposed opposite the top surface, and an internal space disposed between the top surface and the bottom side. The image capture assembly disposed in the internal space faces the bottom side and performs image capturing. The handle assembly includes a handle part and a start button disposed beside the handle part. The handle assembly is disposed on the main body, and the image capture assembly is separated from the handle assembly and disposed under the top surface and above the bottom side so that a user uses one single hand to operate the portable image capture device and control image capturing timings.
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a feeding apparatus capable of feeding media sheet. The feeding apparatus includes first feeding assembly comprising first mount frame, first roller and stopper. The stopper is pivotally connected to the first mount frame and movable with the first roller, the stopper has a covering portion configured to stop the media sheet, the first roller is located in the first mount frame and is movable along a straight path; while the stopper is pressing against the first roller and the first roller is moving along the straight path, the stopper is moved with the first roller so that the covering portion of the stopper is moved close to or away from the straight path.
Abstract: A rechargeable toner cartridge assembly includes a toner cartridge, a toner refilling bottle and a filter device. The toner cartridge includes a toner refilling hole and a connection portion, both of which are disposed on one end of the toner cartridge and penetrate through a housing of the toner cartridge. The toner refilling bottle contains toner, which is refilled into the toner cartridge through the toner refilling hole. The filter device connected to the connection portion filters the toner off a mixed gas overflowing from the toner cartridge to discharge clean air, wherein the toner cartridge and the filter device are two independent devices. The filter device and a rechargeable toner cartridge without a built-in inner air filter element are also provided.
Abstract: A scanner includes an image capturing module, a drive roller assembly, an idle roller assembly, and a guiding structure. The image capturing module is for capturing an image of an object. The drive roller assembly is for driving the object to move along a feeding direction. The idle roller assembly is for preventing a moving direction of the object away from the feeding direction by resiliently pressing the object. A feeding passage is formed between the drive roller assembly and the idle roller assembly. The guiding structure is disposed in front of the feeding passage and for guiding a normal direction of a leading edge of the object to be oblique relative to the feeding direction at an oblique angle. Therefore, the present invention can effectively reduce variation of a resistance force acting on the object as the object moves in the feeding path, which prevents image distortion.
Abstract: A system and a method using matrix barcode information to perform point-to-point information exchange are provided. An electronic device is connected to a document-processing device by way of wired connection and instantly exchange information with a mobile device held by a user. The electronic device and the mobile device are wirelessly connected through matrix barcode information. The electronic device provides a file transfer zone for storing information to be transmitted. When the user transmits a remote command to the electronic device through the mobile device, the electronic device directly drives the document-processing device according to the remote command for the document-processing device to perform a corresponding automated document-processing action, such as scanning or printing. Given the instant information exchange scheme established based on the matrix barcode information, the document-processing efficiency can be enhanced.
Abstract: A fixation device performing a fixation process on a medium in conjunction with a pressure roller includes: a fuser heating to a predetermined temperature to perform the fixation process; a temperature sensor senses a temperature of the fuser as time elapses; a controller electrically connected to the fuser and the temperature sensor; and a database connected to the controller and storing heating time data; wherein the controller obtains a heating time period, during which a temperature of the fuser rises from a non-environment temperature to the predetermined temperature, through the temperature sensor, and judges whether the heating time period falls within a qualified range specified by the heating time data. If the heating time period does not fall within the qualified range, then the controller provides an abnormal message, so that the problem of the fixation device can be solved.

Abstract: An image forming agent storage member comprises a housing, an image forming agent supply port and a fluid discharge mechanism. The housing carries the image forming agent. The image forming agent supply port is disposed on one side surface of a short side of the housing. The fluid discharge mechanism is disposed on a long side of the housing. When the image forming agent supply port receives the image forming agent filled into the housing, a fluid inside the housing is discharged through the fluid discharge mechanism. The fluid discharge mechanism comprises a shielding member, and positions of the shielding member and the image forming agent supply port on the housing do not correspond to each other. A laser printer using the image forming agent storage member is also provided.
Abstract: A short pulse generating circuit including a pulse generating circuit, an actuation control circuit and a delay control circuit is provided. The pulse generating circuit is electrically coupled to a switch, which is coupled to a power. When the power is turned on, the power causes the pulse generating circuit to generate a long pulse. The actuation control circuit is electrically coupled to the power and the pulse generating circuit. When the power is turned on, the actuation control circuit controls a voltage level of each output of the pulse generating circuit to a fixed value. The delay control circuit is electrically coupled to the pulse generating circuit. When the switch is turned on, the power controls the delay control circuit to change the voltage level of each output of the pulse generating circuit to generate a short pulse output.

Abstract: An image filing method including following steps is provided. At least one sheet is searched form from a plurality of scan image data by an office machine or a computer connected to the scanner. the plurality of scan image data is divided into M groups, and the at least one sheet form is set up in a first image data of each of M groups when there are M sheet forms searched from the plurality of scan image data, wherein M is an integral larger than 1. A keyword string is searched in each of the M sheet forms and an encoded string arranged after the keyword string is identified. M files corresponding to the M groups are created and named according to the encoded strings in each of the M sheet forms.
Abstract: A copy method used in a copy system or a copy apparatus connected to a cloud server includes steps of: scanning a document to obtain old image data containing an old information block; generating new image data containing a new information block according to the old image data; printing the new image data on a medium; and comparing different generations of original image data, one of which is contained in the old image data, in the cloud server to judge whether improper modifications are present on the original image data or not, and notifying an information office to perform an inspection when the improper modifications are present.
Abstract: A copying apparatus capable of calibrating a copy position comprises a scanning module scanning an original to obtain an original image; and a processing module being electrically connected to the scanning module and recognizing whether the original image contains an original mark corresponding to a template mark. If the original image contains the original mark, then the processing module generates print data for being printed out according to the original image and a position parameter of the template mark. A copying method capable of calibrating the copy position is also provided. Thus, the copy position can be calibrated according to the mark of the original to prevent the copy result from having a positional offset. Consequently, no positional offset occurs even if the original is copied multiple times based on the previous generation of original.
Abstract: A light sensing apparatus includes a sheet passage, a first sensing assembly and a first background sheet. The sheet passage has a scan window. The first sensing assembly disposed on a first side of the scan window outputs first scan light to the scan window. The first background sheet disposed on a second side of the scan window has a first reflective surface reflecting the first scan light, passing through the scan window, back to the first sensing assembly through the scan window. The first reflective surface of the first background sheet and the scan window are disposed in a non-parallel manner. Therefore, a light sensing method is also provided to achieve the effects of brightness calibration and boundary detection of the first sensing assembly.
