Patent number: 6151737Abstract: A baby changing station includes a platform coupled by a hinge to a wall structure. The platform is movable between a closed position and an open position. The interlocking configuration of the hinge and the combination of the geometries of the platform, the wall structure and a wall portion result in a baby changing station which is sturdy and is not susceptible to contamination, given the blow-molded parts. The platform is hollow and includes a trough for receiving a baby when in the open position. The wall structure is smaller than the platform in order to be nested within the platform when in the closed position. The blow-molded hinge configuration eliminates the use of a steel pin or rod generally used in the art to strengthen the hinge. The baby changing station of the present invention provides a secure interface which may be easily cleaned and maintained and is less subject to structural damage.Type: GrantFiled: May 6, 1999Date of Patent: November 28, 2000Assignee: Avmor Ltd.Inventor: Paul Henninge

Patent number: 6079616Abstract: An adjustable box formed from a blank is disclosed. The box has two rectangular sides; a front panel and a back panel. The front panel and back panel each have two pairs of vertical fold lines on one side thereof, the front pair of vertical fold lines being on the opposite side from the back pair of vertical fold lines. Cooperating flaps including a tongue and groove arrangement are provided to close the box at the top and an automatic setup construction is provided to close the box at the bottom. As a result, the box can be folded along an inner fold line of the front and rear pair of vertical fold lines so that the bottom of the box has a first width. Alternatively, the box can be folded along an outer fold line of the front and rear pair of vertical fold lines so that the bottom of the box has a second width which is smaller than said first width.Type: GrantFiled: November 4, 1998Date of Patent: June 27, 2000Assignee: Avmor Ltd.Inventors: Mattie Chinks, Koen De Winter

Patent number: 6068162Abstract: This invention relates to an improved liquid soap dispenser of the type ones which are commonly located in public washrooms and the like. These kind of soap dispensers include a frame, a manually operable pump mounted on the frame and a reservoir operatively connected to the pump for supplying soap to be dispensed. The soap is generally dispensed when a tube, connected to the reservoir, is squeezed. The current invention provides simple and efficient ways for controlling the quantity of soap dispensed from such liquid soap dispenser. As such, the amount of pressure provided to the tube is varied, thereby varying the amount of soap dispensed. Preferably, the pump includes a handle and a wall portion facing each other on opposite sides of the tube. The wall member is pivotable about a pivot point, so that by increasing the angle between the wall member and the tube, the handle does not compress the tube as much and thus less soap is dispensed.Type: GrantFiled: February 18, 1999Date of Patent: May 30, 2000Assignee: Avmor Ltd.Inventors: Keon De Winter, Mattie Chinks
