Abstract: A filter canister assembly for a gas mask comprising a primary canister with a first filter medium adapted to remove aerosols, particulate materials and droplets from air and a second filter medium comprising an adsorbent filter medium adapted to remove toxic gases and arranged in serial communication with the first filter medium in the first canister. A supplementary filter canister has a third filter media adapted to intercept toxic industrial materials and is removably mounted to a first end of the first housing to supplement the ability of the primary filter canister to filter toxic industrial gases.
Abstract: A liquid storage and dispensing system comprises a bladder, a container in fluid communication with the bladder, a pump in fluid communication with the container, and a dispensing conduit in fluid communication with the pump. Liquid stored in the bladder flows from the bladder to the container, and the pump draws the liquid from the container and dispenses the liquid through the dispensing conduit. The container is sized such that it can store the other components of the liquid storage and dispensing system, including the bladder, which can be collapsed and folded into a compact configuration.
Abstract: A gas mask has a facepiece defining an interior chamber and an opening spanning a front portion of facepiece. An optical panel visor is mounted in the opening in the front portion of the facepiece. A hinge joins opposite sides of the visor along a vertical line for relative rotational movement of the opposite sides of the optical panel and the facepiece with respect to each other.
