  • Patent number: 11868311
Abstract: A method for uploading a file to a server from multiple devices is disclosed. The server receives a request from a user to upload a file thereto. An upload client extracts file information from the file. The server generates a file signature for the file. The server accesses one or more existing file signatures for each of one or more existing files on the server. The server determines whether any of the one or more existing file signatures are similar to the file signature. Responsive to determining that there is an existing file signature that is similar to the file signature, the server accesses a first hash signature for the existing file. The upload client generates a second hash signature for the file. Responsive to determining that the first hash signature does not equal the second hash signature, the upload client uploads the file to the server.

  • Patent number: 11809372
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein generally relate to a method for searching a database. The application receives an input identifying one or more users. The application matches the input to one or more user accounts, each user account corresponding to a user that was identified. The application presents to a requestor public accounts of each identified user account. The application receives a keyword input that filters one or more files in the public accounts. The application receives an input that saves a search comprising the user accounts and the keyword input. The application queries the database using the search. The application presents to the requestor a list of all files found using the search. The application dynamically updates the list to include new files matching a criteria of the search as new files satisfying the search are uploaded to the database.

  • Patent number: 11776206
Abstract: An extended reality system and extended reality method for digital twins, in which the digital twin can be a virtual asset of a real asset. The real asset can be a real object. For example, an initiation of an event in relation to the real asset causes the extended reality method to generate one or more predicted virtual states which are predicted to achieve the event in the virtual asset. The event can be initiated through the real asset and through the virtual asset. The extended reality method can receive one or more further real states of the real asset which achieve the event. The extended reality method can generate a reality 3D map in an extended reality application which concurrently displays, in the 3D space, the virtual asset in the one or more predicted virtual states and the real asset in the one or more further real states.

  • Patent number: 11743402
Abstract: A software application platform which provides a user with the ability to customize, via the uploading of digital photographs, the displayable area of a digital photo in an image gallery such that the photo subject for each digital photo is viewable within the image gallery on a graphical user interface is disclosed. Photos, each having a first aspect ratio, uploaded to an image gallery may be processed by the application such that the photo subject and the photo subject area of each digital photo is identified and positioned within an individual display window, each display window having a second aspect ratio, such that the display window displays the photo subject area in an image gallery on a graphical user interface. The application allows for customization to the look and feel of an image gallery while maintaining a display of the photo subject area.

  • Patent number: 11734861
Abstract: A floorplan modelling method and system. The floorplan modelling method includes receiving 2D images of each corner of an interior space from a camera, generating a corresponding camera position and camera orientation in a 3D coordinate system in the interior space for each 2D image, generating a depth map for each 2D image to estimate depth for each pixel, generating a corresponding edge map for each 2D image, and generating a 3D point cloud for each 2D image using the corresponding depth map and parameters of the camera. The floorplan modelling method includes transforming the 3D point clouds with the corresponding edge map into a 2D space in the 3D coordinate system of the camera, regularizing the 3D point clouds into 2D boundary lines, and generating a 2D plan of the interior space from the boundary lines.

  • Patent number: 11667547
Abstract: Apparatus and method for separating oil from water in produced oil without requiring large separation tanks in which the fluid is heated, using a simple, energy efficient separation process, are described. Centrifugal forces, by themselves, are not effective for completely separating a two-component fluid, especially when the densities of the fluids are similar, such as for heavy oil. By combining both primary and secondary acoustic forces, and taking advantage of centrifugal forces from fluid flow, such that acoustic radiation forces initiate the process of droplet accumulation, and contribute to droplet coalescence, centrifugal separation is enhanced.

  • Patent number: 11573205
Abstract: Apparatus for performing multiple different measurements on a small specimen sample, enabling testing and diagnoses in real time at the point of care are described. The core of the apparatus includes an ultrasonic resonator cavity where acoustic resonances are used to determine the speed of sound and sound attenuation in a single droplet. Acoustic measurements are made in the reflection mode using electrical impedance of a small piezoelectric crystal transducer that operates in the thickness longitudinal mode. Combination of this technology with electromagnetic, electrical, and magnetic fields permits multiple types of measurements to be made using the same resonator cavity.

  • Patent number: 11417069
Abstract: An object and camera localization system and localization method for mapping of the real world. The mapping can be done in real-time or near real-time to the detection of the real objects by a camera device which is used to capture one or more images of an object. The localization method can be used to generate an object label of the object and a bounding box of the object in the image. The localization method can be used to generate anchor points in real world coordinates of the real 3D space of the object, a cuboid of the object, and a centroid of the cuboid. A virtual 3D map can be generated that which includes the location and pose of the real object in the real-world coordinates.

  • Publication number: 20210392911
Abstract: An acoustic apparatus and method for using a combination of low-frequency and high-frequency vibration of dried food, grain being an example, such that there are a large number of collisions among the individual grain particles for destroying microorganisms that reside on the surface or just below the surface of the grain, are described. Embodiments of the invention permit bulk and continuous processing of the food. It is expected that such collisions do not produce any chemical changes in the food, nor should it have any adverse effects on the taste thereof. Embodiments of the apparatus are applicable to destruction of airborne microorganisms.

  • Publication number: 20200179873
Abstract: At least one embodiment relates to an air purifying machine comprising at least one housing and a plurality of cores wherein each core is disposed in the housing. There is also at least one fan disposed in the housing. In addition, there is at least one pump disposed in the housing, wherein the pump is configured to circulate a fluid inside of the housing. The cores comprise at least two cores disposed inside of the housing comprising a first core and a second core, wherein the second core is disposed inside of said first core and wherein the second core is not concentric with the first core. The non-concentric nature of the cores creates a compression location at a point where the two cores are disposed closest to each other. This compression location creates a higher-pressure location for air flow around the cores.

  • Publication number: 20190203960
Abstract: There is disclosed a system and process for purifying air. The system includes a housing and a plurality of inner and outer chambers. A solution of water and a biological reagent is configured to flow around the inner and outer walls of the inner and outer chambers while air is passed adjacent to this fluid flow. This causes an interaction between the air and the fluid solution to cleanse the air. The air is then discharged from the chamber.

  • Patent number: 9477641
Abstract: The invention provides for a continuous air monitor for detecting Alpha emitting radionuclides. The monitor measures and records the energy of each detected Alpha count in one of a plurality of channels and compensates for counts due to the presence of Radon. It does this by carrying out a channel by channel statistical test comparing the measured count in each channel to the expected count due to radon daughter products, and determining if any deviation from the expected count is statistically significant.
