Abstract: A broker is adapted to control an application session managed by an application server session on a remote application server. The broker includes a receiving module receiving from a request for the application session; a connecting module connecting with one or more storage services; a selected content determining unit determining selected content in the one or more storage services which may be visualized by the application server session; a session controlling unit allowing the application server session to visualize the selected content; and an application streamer generating a representation of a web page incorporating the application session; and streaming the representation of the web page to the client browser.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for operating an intermediate broker with multi-session recording, wherein the method comprises the steps of: an intermediate broker providing an application session on an application server as a user session to a user client; a recording module recording the user session in a session recording; upon termination of the user session, the intermediate broker providing a session continuation link for continuing the application session; upon activation of the session continuation link, the intermediate broker continuing the application session on the application server as a further user session to a further user client; the recording module recording the further user session in a further session recording.

Abstract: A broker for communicating with an HTML client running on a client device and with an application running on a remote application server through a web session, said broker comprising: a geolocation information collecting unit, adapted to collect geolocation information from said HTML client; a geolocation processing engine, configured to process said geolocation information, thereby generating location device signalling; and a transmitting module, adapted to transmit said location device signalling to an application server session of said remote application server, thereby emulating a location device.

Abstract: A method to obtain a cloud-stored virtual desktop includes a set of user preferences, applications and shortcuts to files that a user desires to access. The method includes (A) transferring from a client device to a cloud broker a virtual desktop request comprising a user identification and a client device type identification; (B) passing the virtual desktop request to a cloud desktop agent responsible for maintenance of virtual desktops and virtual desktop metadata in the cloud storage system; (C) selecting by the cloud desktop agent a list of available virtual desktops for the user and the client device type based on a comparison with the virtual desktop metadata; (D) transferring the list of available virtual desktops to the cloud broker; and (E) forwarding the list of available virtual desktops from the cloud broker to the client device to enable the user to select a virtual desktop to be opened.
