Abstract: The present invention pertains generally to the field of therapy. More specifically the present invention pertains to a certain compound, [((1R,2S,5R)-2-isopropyl-5-methyl-cyclohexanecarbonyl)-amino]-acetic acid isopropyl ester (also referred to herein as “AX-8” or “Gly-O-iPr”), as described herein, for use in a method of treatment of the human or animal body by therapy, more specifically, for use in a method of treatment of chronic cough (CC), including, for example, refractory chronic cough (RCC) and idiopathic chronic cough (ICC), as described herein.
