Abstract: An assembly and associated system for assuring that one or more freight or cargo carrying pallets are secured to a supporting surface in the cargo or storage area of an aircraft. The assembly including a plurality of spaced apart tracks fixedly mounted to the supporting surface, and disposed in underlying, supporting relation to the pallets. A plurality of locking assemblies, are provided and structured to removably but lockingly engage the tracks at strategic positions immediately adjacent peripheral portions of the pallets. Each of the locking assemblies are selectively oriented into a locked position which retains and lockingly secures the pallets in a preferred position relative to the plurality of tracks on which they are disposed.
