Abstract: A method for cleaning and/or evaluating a food products mould drum and a combination of such a food products mould drum and a mould drum cleaning and/or evaluating device are disclosed. The mould drum cleaning and/or evaluating device includes one or more pressure housings arranged against the outside of and over one or more mould cavities and form, together with the mould drum, an outside chamber. The outside chamber includes a chamber port connectable to a pressure line of a fluid circuit, and the mould drum includes a passage port connectable to a return line of the fluid circuit. Cleaning/evaluating occurs by allowing a pressurized fluid stream to enter via the chamber port into mould cavities and then via a wall part porous structure through a passage, and exit via the passage port to the return line of the fluid circuit.

Abstract: A PCB assembly comprising a PCB having a set of through holes, and at least one snap on fastener having an abutment portion connected to a fixating portion, the fixating portion having a protruding section which is compressible against a spring force, such that, when the fixating portion is introduced into said hole, the protruding section is compressed to pass through the hole and allowed to expand on an opposite side of the hole and snap fit in the hole, while the abutment portion abuts against a surface of the PCB. The invention provides a significantly more efficient mounting process. Also, the fasteners will typically allow dismounting, e.g. facilitating replacement of a PCB. Further, the snap-on fasteners provide a flexible connection, which allows thermal expansion of the support without straining or damaging the PCB.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method for road geometry matching with componentized junction models is provided. The method includes receiving a plurality of predefined road component models, receiving map data representing a physical road junction, selecting a subset of the plurality of road component models to characterize the physical road junction represented by the received map data, and defining a road junction configuration for the physical road junction with the selected road component models.
Abstract: A fluid is directed toward a surface of an optical element based on a first flow pattern, the surface of the optical element including debris and the fluid directed based on the first flow pattern moving at least some of the debris to a first stagnation region at the surface of the optical element; and the fluid is directed toward the optical element based on a second flow pattern, the fluid directed based on the second flow pattern moving at least some of the debris to a second stagnation region on the surface of the optical element, the second stagnation region and the first stagnation region being different locations at the surface of the optical element. Directing the fluid toward the surface of the optical element based on the second flow pattern removes at least some of the debris from the first stagnation region.

Abstract: A device and method are disclosed in which a source material delivery system can be reoriented so that the path of the source material is not directly towards an irradiation region in operating conditions in which the path is expected to be unpredictable. A shroud provided to protect the flow of source material from being disrupted is segmented so with one part of the shroud being movable with respect to another part of the shroud so that the movable part can avoid interfering with the path of the source material when it is not directly towards the irradiation region.

Abstract: A process of preparing an adhesive haemostatic product is provided. The process comprises: (a) coating a porous solid substrate with a coating liquid that comprises an electrophilically activated polyoxazoline (EL-POX) and a solvent to produce a coated substrate; and (b) removing the solvent from the coated substrate. The EL-POX comprises at least 2 reactive electrophilic groups. The process enables the application of an EL-POX coating that leaves the pore structure of the substrate largely intact so that the ability of the porous substrate to absorb body fluids, such as blood, remains essentially unaffected. The EL-POX coated haemostatic product obtained by the present process has excellent adhesive properties due to the presence of electrophilic reactive groups that are capable of reacting with e.g. amine groups that are naturally present in tissue, under the formation of covalent bonds.
