Abstract: The present methods pertain to amplifying and/or detecting Staphylococcus aureus (“SA”) and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (“MRSA”) nucleic acids based on a combined detection of ldh1 as a SA marker and mecA as a MRSA marker. In certain embodiments the methods also pertain to amplifying and/or detecting one or more SCCmec integration sites or bridge regions. Primers and probes are suitable to be used in the present methods to detect SA and MRSA simultaneously in a single reaction or in separate reactions. The amplified nucleic acid can be detected by a variety of state of the art methods, including fluorescence resonance energy transfer (“FRET”), radiolabels, enzyme labels, and the like.

Abstract: The present invention relates to lithographic apparatuses and processes, and more particularly to tools for co-optimizing illumination sources and masks for use in lithographic apparatuses and processes. According to certain aspects, the present invention enables full chip pattern coverage while lowering the computation cost by intelligently selecting a small set of critical design patterns from the full set of clips to be used in source and mask optimization. Optimization is performed only on these selected patterns to obtain an optimized source. The optimized source is then used to optimize the mask (e.g. using OPC and manufacturability verification) for the full chip, and the process window performance results are compared. If the results are comparable to conventional full-chip SMO, the process ends, otherwise various methods are provided for iteratively converging on the successful result.
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a computer-implemented method for improving a lithographic process for imaging a portion of a design layout onto a substrate using a lithographic projection apparatus, the method comprising defining a multi-variable cost function, the multi-variable cost function being a function of a stochastic effect of the lithographic process.
Abstract: Some embodiments are directed to a cryptographic method for providing an electronic first device, an electronic second device and an electronic intermediary device, the cryptographic method establishing a cryptographically protected communication channel between the first device and the second device. The method comprises establishing a session identifier (SID) between the first device and the intermediary device. The first device sends the session identifier and a first key element to the second device over an out-of-band channel. The second device sends a registration message comprising the session identifier to the intermediary device. The first and derived at the first and second device.

Abstract: A packaging dispenser, for dispensing stacks of nested trays to a packing device, has a frame, a first conveyor for conveying and supporting a first plurality of stacks of nested trays in a first level, and a second conveyor downstream of the first conveyor for receiving stacks of nested trays from the first conveyor. The packaging dispenser also includes a vertical chute underneath the second conveyor for dispensing stacks of nested trays to a packing device. The second conveyor has a pair of laterally spaced conveyor elements for supporting only lateral edge regions of a stack of nested trays. The laterally spaced conveyor elements are retractable to allow a stack of nested trays, supported thereon, to be released into the chute. The packaging dispenser can further be provided with a tray separator upstream of the chute for loosening individual trays of a stack, while keeping the trays in a stacked and nested arrangement.

Methods and nodes for secured execution of a web application by invoking a function of the web application, invoking a Partial Execution Stub (PES) function during execution of the function of the web application, sending, from the PES function, a message call with current execution information to a trusted module and receiving, a verification result from the trusted module.
Abstract: An injection device (10) for administering a liquid has a barrel (12) with an outlet (20) for the liquid, and a piston (14) arranged in the barrel (12). The piston is designed to force the liquid out from the outlet (20) by displacement into the barrel (12). The injection device (10) has an overpressure protection with a sensor (24) and with an actuator (26). The sensor (24) detects the pressure of the liquid in the barrel (12) directly or indirectly. The actuator (26) prevents a further increase in the pressure of the liquid.
