Abstract: A bouncing cradle comprising a base frame (10), a backrest (20), a first pivot mounting (12) arranged for the backrest (20) and carried by the base frame (10), an arm (22) fixedly connected to the backrest (20) and situated under the backrest (20) as well as at a distance from the first pivot mounting (12), the arm being, via a second pivot mounting (22, 23), connected to an adjustment fitting (40), the adjustment fitting (40) having at least two recesses (51, 52) that are situated at different distances from the second pivot mounting (22, 23) and that can receive a bar (14) carried by the base frame (10) and situated at a distance from the first pivot mounting, for setting different angles of inclination of the backrest (20) in relation to the base frame (10), the bar (14), the arm (22) and the first and the second mounting (12, 22) being axially parallel and the base frame (10) being intended to stand on a substantially horizontal underlay.

Abstract: A child harness has two strap loops which pass around respective shoulders of the wearer and which are mutually connected by a fastener on the rear side of the harness. The harness has a child carrying pouch on the front side, so as to be supported on the chest side of the wearer. The fastener slides readily along the strap loops to assume a position that is controlled by the magnitude and the direction of the forces applied via the strap portions that connect with the fastener. The harness has a waist belt which connects with the fastener on the rear side of the harness so as to limit the distance of the fastener from the waist belt. The back piece is generally triangular in shape, with the top of the triangle connected to the fastener, and functions to transfer load to the lower part of the wearer's back.

Abstract: A child harness has a child carrying pouch that is a generally flexible piece of material with side edges which define at least a part of a respective leg opening in the lower part of the pouch. The piece of material includes an elastically flexible sheet that is enclosed in a fabric casing, with a first piece of fabric on one major surface of the sheet and a second piece of fabric on the other major surface of the sheet. The pieces of fabric are sewn together to provide a seam. The seam is placed on the one major surface of the piece of material in the region of a respective leg opening at a distance of at least 0.5 cm from the edge of the leg opening.

Abstract: A child's bib includes a plastic string (5, 55, 56) which has a free-bearing part (55, 56) that extends from one end of the edge of the neck-surrounding recess of the bib to the front piece thereof and terminating in the proximity of the other end of the edge of said recess, said plastic string having the form of a series of beads (51) that are mutually separated by waist portions. Located at the free end portion of the string is a fastener (30) in the form of a rounded button which includes a notch-like recess (32) that receives the string and that has a restraining element (33, 34) which engages a waist portion (52) situated between two beads (51) in the string (56). The fastener is slightly undercut so as to be able to hold the string firmly with a limited force.

Abstract: A child-supporting shoulder harness includes a flexible front piece which is connected in the harness to form a child-supporting pouch. The front piece includes a length-adjustable connecting device which extends between two horizontal, mutually spaced points on the front piece, so as to enable the width of the pouch to be varied. When the width is reduced, the lateral end-parts of the front piece are deformed in a way that reduces the wedging action between the wearer's chest and the baby's head and provides a comfortable lateral head support for a sleeping baby.

Abstract: A buckle arrangement for releasably connecting two parts of an object that includes a post which projects out at right angles from one part, and a ring-shaped body which is connected to the other part and which is received by the post. The ring-shaped body carries latching shoulders which engage with a waist in the post and which can be released from the post by applying pressure against two exposed press keys connected to the latch shoulders. The buckle arrangement can be used between a lateral end-part of an upper edge-region of a carrier pouch in a child-supporting harness and a chest strap included in the harness, or for mutually connecting the ends of a belt belonging to a babysitter.

Abstract: A baby-carrying harness has fitted thereto a baby carrying pouch which includes a front wall that has at least one free side edge (24) which can be fastened to an adjacent harness chest strap (31) by means of a connecting device (41, 32) for supporting the front wall (22) of the carrier pouch on the harness (1) and define a baby leg opening between the front wall (22) and the chest strap (31) beneath the connecting device. The connecting device includes a hook fastening (75, 43; 32, 33) which has a downwardly extending finger (43) that engages a male part (75, 43) fitted on the front wall (22), and a finger-receiving female part (32, 33) carried by the harness (1, 31), wherein the upper part of the male part is connected to the front wall. The upper portion of the male part is joined to the front wall (22) in the proximity of the finger, at least in the region of the free end of said finger.

Abstract: A child's plate includes a food bowl (10) which is supported by a surrounding raised rim (1) one upper edge-part (3) of which connects with the upper edge-part (11) of the bowl (10) and the other, lower rim part (2) of which defines a support plane (4) with which the rim rests on a planar support surface around the whole of its periphery. The rim (1) is adapted to support the bowl (10) above the support surface. The rim (1) slopes outwardly and downwardly from its upper edge towards its bottom edge (2). The inner wall surface of the bowl (10) and the outer wall surface of the rim (1) define a downwardly divergent angle of at least 20°. The bottom edge (5) of the rim (1) includes friction enhancing means (3) which counteracts displacement of the plate (1) on a planar support surface on which the plate rests. The vertical wall surface (12) of the bowl has in the vicinity of the free edge of the bowl wall a surface part (15) against which a perpendicular force can be applied with the finger of one hand.
