Abstract: A pole saw, including a cutting assembly and a support assembly. The cutting assembly includes a serrated cutter and a sheath rotatably connected thereto. The sheath is provided with a groove for accommodating the serrated cutter. The serrated cutter can rotate with respect to the sheath to move into or out of the groove to be sheathed or exposed. The sheath is detachably arranged on the support assembly.

Abstract: A trailer hitch assembly for use with utility vehicles that allows for adjustment of the height that a tongue of a trailer may be set. A telescoping sliding relation between a tubular post that is adapted to be joined to a towing vehicle and a shaft to which a hitch ball is joined and with a thorough pin for locking the two at selected extension lengths accommodates a variety of carts/trailers for use with differing models of utility vehicles. The invention further includes support straps of adjustable length that join the telescoping assembly to the towing vehicle.

Abstract: A tong assembly for use with a work vehicle for grasping irregular shaped objects such as large rocks and smaller sized boulders. The tong assembly includes specially designed load engagement pads having a rectangular configuration of steel bars and attachable to the tong arms proximate their lower ends. A pair of the bars that extend parallel to one another, but normal to the tong arms have a serrated arcuate load engaging surface for enhancing the ability of the tong assembly to grasp and retain irregular shaped objects.

Abstract: A tool for picking up and carrying cut fireplace logs comprises a somewhat stiff but flexible handle approximately equal in length to the length of the firewood logs and that has hooks replaceably attached to opposed ends of the handle, the hooks having a pointed end arranged to penetrate into the end surfaces of a log when a lifting force is applied to the handle.

Abstract: A tool for dragging wooden shipping pallets along the ground comprises a wheel-mounted base member that has an elongated handle attached to it. The base member supports a pair of jaw members that is pivotally joined to one another along with a pair of linkages pivotally joined at one end to the base member and at the other ends to the end portions of the jaw members. A tension spring is connected between the pivot points where the linkages join to the end portions of the jaw members to normally urge the jaws to be closed relative to one another. A cable or cord attaches at one end of the pivot joint between the two jaw members and extends along the length of the handle to a pull knob. Tension on the cable or cord acts against the force of the spring to open the jaw members.
