Abstract: A filling head comprising inner and outer concentric cylindrical ducts, hingedly connected doors movable between an open depending position and a horizontal position closing the lower ends of the ducts in response to movement of the outer duct between a raised position and a lowered position respectively.
Abstract: There is disclosed a bag emptying arrangement, for bulk dry material bags with outlet spouts in which a bag is supported, spout lowermost, and inserted into a tube atop a valve. The tube has an inner annulus and a pinch mechanism so that the spout can be passed over the annulus and pinched between it and the tube to seal the spout to the tube.
Abstract: Weighing apparatus includes support means to support the article to be weighed, a pair of screws fixedly mounted on the support means and a base member movable relative to the screws between a first position in which the base member is spaced from the bottom of the article and a second position in which the base member is in contact with the article. Screw receiving members are threadably mounted on the screws and are connected to the base member. Upon rotation of the screw receiving members, the base member is moved between the first and second positions.
