Patent number: 6622611Abstract: A hydraulic device having two hydraulic actuators, in particular a motor and a double-acting jack, each having two couplings for the entry and/or the exit of a control fluid. Two pipes are coupled to the two actuators and designed so that one conveys a pressurized fluid to a respective coupling of each actuator while the other discharges the fluid to the other respective coupling, and vice versa, in such a way that the jack can be controlled to selectively produce a movement in opposite directions. A selective reversing gate reverses, between the two pipes, the supplying of pressurized fluid and the discharging of the fluid so as to control the direction of the movement of the jack.Type: GrantFiled: July 24, 2001Date of Patent: September 23, 2003Assignee: BakaInventor: Fernando Nesi

Patent number: 4445894Abstract: A band for securing a catheter or similar device to a limb of a human comprising a stretchable primary strap adapted to encircle a limb. A part of the strap is made of a soft looped fabric and the strap also carries a male Velcro-type fastening material which cooperates with the looped fabric to enable the strap to be secured in place about the limb. A secondary strap made of a flexible material is secured, hooks up, intermediate its ends to the central portion of the primary strap on the looped fabric. The secondary strap is made of a male Velcro-type fastening material, and each end of the secondary strap is designed to be looped over and encircle the catheter or similar device and attach to the looped fabric to hold the catheter or similar device securely in place on the limb.Type: GrantFiled: August 12, 1982Date of Patent: May 1, 1984Assignee: Baka Manufacturing Company, Inc.Inventor: Joseph Kovacs

Patent number: 4331144Abstract: A band for supporting a tracheostomy tube or the like comprising first and second straps each having a sponge-like inner surface adapted to lie against the skin and an outer layer of a looped material which functions as the female for Velcro-type fasteners. The straps are adjustably joined by a male Velcro-type patch on the back of one strap designed to engage the looped material on the face of the other strap. The free ends of the joined straps each carry a male Velcro-type fastener strip designed to thread through an opening in the flange of the tracheostomy tube to hold the tube in place.Type: GrantFiled: September 17, 1980Date of Patent: May 25, 1982Assignee: Baka Manufacturing Company, Inc.Inventor: Herbert H. Patent number: 4096863Abstract: A band for securing a catheter or similar device to a limb of a human comprising a stretchable primary strap adapted to encircle the limb. A part of the strap is made of a soft looped fabric and the strap also carries a male Velcro-type fastening material which cooperates with the looped fabric to enable the strap to be secured in place about the limb. A secondary strap made of a flexible material is secured at one end intermediate the ends of the primary strap. That end of the secondary strap also carries a clip having an eye. The other end of the secondary strap, made of a male Velcro-type fastening material, may be threaded through the eye of the clip and engage the looped fabric so that the secondary strap forms a closed loop for encircling the catheter or similar device and holding it securely in place on the limb.Type: GrantFiled: November 29, 1976Date of Patent: June 27, 1978Assignee: Baka Manufacturing Company, Inc.Inventors: David Kaplan, Irving Brezack, Nathan H.
