    Abstract: A sensor device includes a tubular body having a first end and a second end opposite the first end, a pressure plug on the first end of the tubular body, and a sensor tip on the second end of the tubular body, wherein the sensor tip comprises an open end opposite the tubular body and an optical tip removably positioned through the open end and held in place by a removable cap. The optical tip includes an optical rod and a rod holder. The sensor device further includes an optical fiber extending from the pressure plug, through the tubular body, and into the sensor tip where the optical fiber is optically coupled to the optical rod. The pressure plug may include a slack cavity where the optical fiber is in slack under neutral temperature and pressure conditions to withstand expansion of the sensor device under high temperature or pressure conditions.

    Abstract: A mandrel in production tubing within a well has a side pocket with an inlet port for connection to an upper control line segment that extends upward alongside the production tubing. An outlet port is below the inlet port for connection to a lower control line segment extending below the pocket. A filter assembly is lowered through the production tubing into the pocket. A valve at a lower end of the pocket is movable from a closed position closing the outlet port to an open position opening the outlet port. A probe mounted to a lower end of the filter assembly engages and pushes the valve from the closed position to the open position while the filter assembly is being seated in the pocket.

The method further includes partitioning the image data into multiple high-resolution depth segments that share a similar property, feature, and/or pattern for each electrofacies block and assigning data from the plurality of non-image data logs into a corresponding high-resolution depth segment to provide a high-resolution data log that characterizes the subsurface formation.
