  • Patent number: 9965988
Abstract: A system, method and apparatus are set forth which adjusts one or more of the brightness, vibrancy and color shift of displayed content based upon the at least approximate age of the viewer. At a display (15) the user's age is at least approximated by accessing an established user data file (835, 837) containing age determining data and/or capturing a facial image (804) of the user and processing the same to determine at least the approximate age of the user. Based upon the age determination the brightness, vibrancy and/or color shift may be adjusted to account for the effects of the aging of the human eye. User overrides (900, 902, 904) may be provided for the user to alter or turn off the adjustments. Adjustment of the brightness, vibrancy and/or color shift may also take into account ambient light conditions.

The first LCD panel and the second LCD panel each have an active display region between two opposing inactive sides of the respective LCD panel. At least one LCD panel includes an LCD glass panel which is cut, removing the majority of the inactive side and creating a smaller, inactive side at the edge of the respective LCD panel, adjacent to the active display region. The first and second LCD panels are mounted onto a single light source illuminating both the first and second LCD panels, such that inactive side at the edge of the at least one cut LCD panel overlaps another inactive side of the other LCD panel at one edge without obscuring any of the active display region of either LCD panel.

  • Patent number: 9940781
Abstract: A gaming system includes game-logic circuitry that primarily performs a casino wagering game. The casino wagering game includes gaming events (play steps) having outcomes that may trigger and perpetuate a multi-level bonus game. As the wagering game is performed, a game cycle data record is created containing game cycle data related to the outcome of the play steps. A predetermined number of the most recent game cycle data records are stored in non-volatile memory. Each game cycle data record includes a predetermined number of play step data records for the base-game, bonus-game-triggering, and bonus-game play steps, as performed in chronological order. When the predetermined number of play step data records is exceeded, the oldest non-triggering play step data record is removed from the game cycle data and accrued into summary data specific to a nested-depth of the play step for the game cycle.

  • Patent number: 9940775
Abstract: A gaming system includes game-logic circuitry performing at least one regulated casino wagering game including a base game and a bonus game. The player accrues at least one of a number of free spins and a number of guaranteed wins for the bonus game. The free spins allow a player to win awards without further wagering. The guaranteed wins may trigger a re-spin of one or more free spins of the bonus game, result in a monetary award directly based upon symbols of a cash reel, or specify a minimum guaranteed wins threshold for a given base game or bonus game spin. The guaranteed wins may decrement with free spins when the free spin awards are above zero. Each guaranteed win remaining after all the free spins are completed may result in a cash reel displaying a symbol corresponding to a specific award.

  • Patent number: 9940788
Abstract: Disclosed is a method and system for preventing replay attacks for mobile promotions associated with promotion devices. Upon the occurrence of a promotion winning event such as a designated outcome of a game played on the promotion device the user, via a software application accessible to their mobile device, forwards images of the event to a server over a network. The server determines entitlement to the promotion and analyses data associated with the images and mobile device location and time to confirm that the event is new promotion winning event. Upon such confirmation an entitlement to the promotion is awarded to the user. The foregoing prevents unscrupulous users from logging multiple claims for the same promotion winning event.
