Abstract: An extrusion process for creating a roof ditch molding including forming a main body from a plastic material in a first stage extrusion, conveying the main body through a stacked array of die plates and into a first stage cooling tank, and communicating the main body from an outlet of the first stage cooling tank to a second stage extruder with crosshead die for applying a skim film bonding layer to the main body. Additional steps include applying a decorative layer over the skim bonding layer, communicating the main body to a third stage extruder with cross head die for applying wing portions in partially overlapping fashion along opposite side edges of the decorative layer and drawing the completed ditch molding through a second stage cooling tank prior to conducting one or more finishing operations.

Abstract: A system provides for event-driven redirection of IP service flows and receives, by a DHCP server, an add event corresponding to a specified MAC address; provides a new DHCP lease for the specified address; transmits, by the DHCP server and to an Internet gateway, new instructions comprising one or more of a new IP address, subnet mask, and specified DNS servers; and, through DNS services and routing, redirects all network traffic originating from the Internet gateway to a specified destination. Some embodiments receive a remove event corresponding to the specified address; provide a second new DHCP lease for the specified address; transmit to an Internet gateway, second new instructions comprising one or more of a second new IP address, second subnet mask, and second specified DNS servers; and, through DNS services and routing, direct all network traffic originating from the Internet gateway back to unfettered, but monitored, Internet access.

Abstract: A media playout system receives a broadcast log transmitted from a media scheduling system. The broadcast log includes a restricted show, and the media playout system makes a first determination a blackout period assigned to the restricted show. The blackout period indicates a period of time associated with the restricted show during which at least one media item is prohibited from being scheduled. The media player also determines that the broadcast log indicates that the at least one media item has been improperly scheduled during the blackout period. In response to determining that the at least one media item has been improperly scheduled during the blackout period, the media playout system transmits, to the media scheduling system, a message requesting a replacement media item to replace the at least one media item that has been improperly scheduled during the blackout period.

Abstract: A method includes injection molding a preform using a two phase injection system having a first phase in which a material is injected into the preform and a second phase in which the material is injected into the preform. The preform is disposed in a mold. The preform is blow molded into an intermediate article. The intermediate article is trimmed to form a finished container. The first phase includes injecting a material into the preform to form a single layer of the preform and the second phase includes injecting the material to form inner and outer layers and an intermediate layer between the inner and outer layers. The inner and outer layers include the material and the intermediate layer includes at least one additive. Finished containers are disclosed.

Abstract: The process for molding a thermoset sheet-molding composition or bulk-molding composition is provided that includes the exposure of a mold surface to a silsesquioxane monomer or pre-polymer material under conditions to induce polymerization of said material or said monomer to form a mold release coating on the surface. The thermoset sheet-molding composition or bulk-molding composition is then injected into the mold and into contact with said coating under conditions to cure the composition to form an article.

Abstract: A system for protecting and de-identifying healthcare data includes a storage device for storing the healthcare data and personally identifiable information for a person and a processor in communication with the database. The processor generates an anonymous linking code using a keyed hash function and a second hash function. The anonymous linking code is based at least in part on a portion of the personally identifiable information. The processor further appends the anonymous linking code to the healthcare data for the person.

Abstract: The disclosure generally describes computer-implemented methods, software, and systems for receiving and aggregating anonymized data reports about when prescribers provide wireless device applications to patients. The disclosure discusses ways of analyzing the data reports in combination with other electronic medical information to generate useful conclusions about scenarios in the health care process.

Abstract: The present invention has application to countering IEDs which are triggered remotely through a RF signal directed at, or the same operating environment as, receiver components embedded in, or part of, commercially manufactured cell phones or remote control devices. The invention exploits those situations where the underlying device (i.e., a commercial cell phone) is designed to operate in an environment where noise is characterized by an additive Gaussian noise model. The invention exploits the optimization of the matched filter for Gaussian noise by introducing a specific non-Gaussian noise. Further, the invention is directed to a family of jamming waveforms which exhibit increased effectiveness against a variety of digital and analog communications systems.

Abstract: Certain exemplary embodiments described herein relate to digital downloading jukebox systems of the type that typically include a central server and remote jukebox devices that communicate with the central server for royalty accounting and/or content updates. More particularly, certain exemplary embodiments relate to jukebox systems that have revenue-enhancing features such as for example, music recommendation engines and bartender loyalty programs. Such innovative techniques help to both increase per jukebox revenue as well as keep jukebox patrons engaged with the jukebox.

Abstract: Timely projections of product sales for a reporting time period are obtained by combining actual sales data received from reporting stores and estimated sales data for non-reporting stores. The projections are adjusted to account for trailing data, which may be reported after the end of the subject time period.

The generator can include a feed air compressor, a separation device for separating an inert gas from a feed air gas, and a booster compressor, each of which can have various sensors and actuators for controlling the operation thereof. An electronic control system can be connected to the sensors and actuators to allow for convenient operation of the generator. The electronic control system can include a control panel disposed in a cab.

Abstract: An electrode for an iontophoretic drug delivery system includes a retainer having a malleable characteristic. The retainer and a conductor are connected to a platform. The conductor and a dose controller are electrically coupled to the iontophoretic drug delivery system. A drug delivery matrix is operably connected to the platform and proximate the conductor wherein the conductor, the drug delivery matrix, and the dose controller cooperate to deliver a drug to a user when the electrode is affixed to the user and operably connected to the iontophoretic drug delivery system.

Abstract: A DC to DC power converter includes synchronous rectifiers which respond to a control waveform. Negative current from a load into the power converter is prevented by increasing the converter output voltage at a minimum current limit. The synchronous rectifiers may be held off in response to decision logic by activation of a hold-off circuit connected to a control terminal of a synchronous rectifier or of an ORing transistor at the converter output. When the synchronous rectifier is subsequently enabled, its control waveform may be increased slowly relative to the switching cycle.

Abstract: The boundary friction properties of lubricating oils are improved by including at least one polymeric ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer derived dispersant and a molybdenum compound into a lubricating oil of a lubricating viscosity. A concentrate for addition into an oil of lubricating viscosity is also disclosed.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a solid, non-wound, golf ball comprising two or more core components, and a cover component. The core components comprise i) a small, inner, high density, spherical center component comprising a blend of powdered metal and a first matrix material comprising polybutadiene and polyisoprene; and, ii) an outer core layer disposed about the spherical center component, formed from a second matrix material selected from the group consisting of a thermoset material, a thermoplastic material, or combinations thereof. The golf ball may further comprise a second or additional outer core layer(s) that surround the first outer core layer. Preferably, the inner, high density, center component is produced without the use of a crosslinking agent or coagent, which is the reaction product of an unsaturated carboxylic acid or acids and an oxide or carbonate of a metal such as zinc. The cover may be single or multi-layered.
