  • Patent number: 10828926
Abstract: Smart processing devices and systems for controlling functionality of smart processing devices are provided. In some examples, a smart processing device may include a central segment and a plurality of removable segments. The removable segments may be connected to the central segment in a plurality of different configurations. In some examples, each configuration may enable or disable functionality associated with the smart processing device. Further, a system may receive data associated with a current physical configuration of a smart processing device. The current physical configuration data may be compared to pre-stored configuration data in order to identify one or more functions to be enabled or disabled for the smart processing device. The system, computing platform, or the like, may generate an instruction, command or signal enabling or disabling functionality and may transmit the signal to the smart processing device for execution and control of functions provided by the smart processing device.

  • Patent number: 10831901
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to data integration and threat assessment for triggering analysis of connection oscillations in order to improve data and connection security. The invention leverages a security threat assessment engine and an analytics engine to gather and process data from a combination of internal and external data sources for a third party connection. The system continuously monitors and updates a generated threat level for a third party connection to determine changes or triggers indicating a potential security threat. In response to these determined changes or triggers, the system then responds to a detected security threat and minimizes damages resulting from data compromised by third party systems. Further, the system may extract and recover data from the third party systems and alter connection channels in order to further limit losses.

  • Publication number: 20200349296
Abstract: A system for real-time authenticated obfuscation of electronic data provides real-time visual obfuscation of the data by transforming displayed data into undecipherable data when viewed by an unauthorized user while maintaining access for an authorized user. The system may further provide application-level obfuscation of electronic data via cryptographic keys such that only authorized applications may decrypt the encrypted data. In this way, the system provides secure access control of electronic data within a networked environment.

  • Publication number: 20200350955
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed facilitating an electronic resource distribution by embedding a short-range wireless tag in a resource distribution request that stores instructions for processing the resource distribution in a fully electronic processing flow. As such, the resource distribution request holder is capable of processing the request without issuing a resource distribution document to the resource requester. In additional embodiments of the invention, the short-range wireless tag further stores instructions for arranging subsequent resource distributions to the resource requester to occur without the need for the resource requester to present a resource request document.

  • Publication number: 20200349552
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a system for secure contactless distribution of dynamic resources. Resource information may be written onto a near field communication (“NFC”) chip associated with a user, and a dynamic resource value element can be associated with this NFC chip. When an NFC interaction between the NFC chip associated with the user and a computing device of the user is detected, the computing device of the user extracts the resource information from the NFC chip, along with a dynamic resource value. The dynamic resource value is compared to an expected dynamic resource value and, if the values match, the extracted resource information is populated into memory fields of the computing device of the user.

  • Publication number: 20200351262
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a system for secondary authentication via contactless distribution of dynamic resources. When an event request associated with a user is received, a prompt for event information is transmitted to a computing device. Based on the event information that is received, a determination is made that the event request requires a secondary authentication in the form of a near field communication (“NFC”) interaction between an NFC chip associated with the user and a secondary authentication device. The NFC chip associated with the user may additionally be associated with a dynamic resource value element. Once the NFC interaction is detected, a dynamic resource value is extracted and compared to an expected dynamic resource value. If the values match, then the user is authenticated for the requested event at the secondary authentication level.

  • Patent number: 10826929
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to systems, methods, and computer program products for vulnerability assessment and hash generation for exterior data deployment. In this way, the system utilizes a vulnerability assessment to generate a permit to send approval for dissemination of data, files, or the like outside of the entity via an electronic communication. The vulnerability assessment determines a permit to send status for the communication. The system may then generate a hash for the communication and embed the hash within the data of the communication. Upon sending, the entity will only permit communications with a known hash embedded therein from being transmitted outside of the internal entity network.

  • Patent number: 10824751
Abstract: The invention relates generally to improved secure data storage that utilizes zoned data storage and control and/or integration of discrete data for masking the stored data. The data may be divided and stored in different zoned databases and assigned different access rights in order to separate data that is part of a larger combination of data into smaller data portions, which makes it difficult for unauthorized use of such data. Additionally, or alternatively, data that is stored within a database may be combined with other discrete data (e.g., unrelated real data) in order to mask the data being stored. As such, the masked data is more secure and less storage spaces is required due to the utilization of real data for masking. When an unauthorized requestor of the stored data is identified deterrence actions may be taken to reduce the unauthorized user's ability to access the desired data.

  • Patent number: 10824807
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a system for converting ubiquitous language instructions to robotic process automation executable action steps and executing the action steps. A managing system receives an encrypted user input from a computing device of the user, where the user input comprises instructions entered in ubiquitous language (e.g., common vernacular, or other non-complex programming language). The user input is decrypted and an action keyword is identified from the ubiquitous language instructions. The action keyword for each instruction is compared to a conversion database to determine a set of execution steps associated with each action keyword. These execution steps are in a format that enables a robotic process automation system to perform the execution steps. The set of execution steps is then transmitted to the robotic process automation system that automatically performs the set of execution steps through a workstation or other operating station of the user.

  • Patent number: 10824754
Abstract: A vertically integrated access control system may store in a database data records corresponding to the interfaces, access control rules, and computing resources of an information system, as well as data records for entity capabilities. Data records for related interfaces, access control rules, computing resources, and entity capabilities may be linked. Using the database, the system may determine the entity capabilities that can be performed based on an existing user entitlement. If the entity capabilities include a flagged combination of entity capabilities, the system may perform an information security action to remediate the flagged combination. The system may use the database to form vertically integrated access units. The vertically integrated access units may be used to form user entitlements. The system may continuously monitor whether any proposed configurations would create a flagged combination of entity capabilities, and if so take an action to prevent such flagged combination.

  • Patent number: 10824624
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention enable analyzing, optimizing and remediating a proposed data query prior to query implementation. Embodiments receive a request from a user; in response, perform an initialization comprising connecting to a data management structure; exporting an explain text of the request in a known format; and disconnecting from the data management structure. In response to initialization, embodiments perform a shredding step comprising shredding the explain text of the request; and populating a plurality of metadata tables comprising a superset table required for internal processing. Next, embodiments define or redefine a machine learning algorithm comprising a plurality of rulesets by calling a plurality of macros to act on the request; access a historic log comprising identified performance tuning parameters configured for tuning queries; and use the identified performance tuning parameters and the machine learning algorithm, optimize the query, thereby resulting in an optimized query.

  • Patent number: 10826801
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a method for inspecting a data stream. The method may include conveying the data stream through a multi-level data channel and inspection architecture. The architecture includes a multi-level data pipeline. The pipeline is formed from pipes arranged serially such that each output of one pipe provides an input to a successive one of the plurality of pipes. The pipeline receives the data stream at an upstream portion of the pipeline, and inspects the data in the data stream. Thereafter, the pipeline outputs inspected data at a downstream portion of the pipeline. The outputted inspected data becomes inputted date for a successive one of the pipes. A data manager may be configured to coordinate passage of the data into and out of the pipeline, and between one or more of the group of mechanisms.
